They know that it's time to calm down and relax awhile, which is so great, it chills us all out and I love hearing scary stories. When i was a kid, my parents best friends traveled the world, seriously, to places a lot of Americans didn't go then (1950s and 60s), like Thailand and Africa and Saudi Arabia. When they would come back to town, they would spend all night at our house telling really terrifying stories about strange creatures, weird strangers and near death brushes. I was supposed to be in bed asleep, but I would stay up listening with my hair on end! It gave me a life long fascination about mysteries and how true it is that "This world is a strange one" because it IS!....
I really like the guess the creepypasta type stories! It reminds me of when I watched Beyond Belief: fact or fiction? As a kid. I can still hear the narrator of that show (whose name I cannot recall right now). Your voice kind of reminds me of his, too!!
that old cartoon where a cat blows a smoke ring while smoking a cigar and then grabs the ring dunks it in his coffee then takes a bite always made me hungry for coffee and donuts even tho I didn't even kno what coffee was at the time.
Ah, the beast of Bray Rd. There's a documentary on Amazon Prime about it and they actually interview the farm owners that surround Bray Rd. Prime has a lot of documentaries on the paranormal.

Dvo 77's story reminded me of the scene in Jurassic Park where Jeff Goldblum's character was saying "must go faster, must go faster!" I was actually saying it when you narrated the part when Aaron was saying it. Lol! That must have been terrifying! 😳 (And the white fox story was just BEAUTIFUL and sweet! What an amazing encounter!)
Nailed it! "The Draggers" was excellent, but it was TOO freaky! A baby-coyote monstrosity was a bit too much to believe, but the author was very talented in their storytelling. 🙂 I didn't consider ANY other possibilities once I'd heard all of the stories. The fox one sounds like a kitsune (my favorite myth/legend bc I love foxes, also because their human forms are supposed to be beautiful, I believe).. But I don't remember if there were a lot of good depictions of them. I think there was a few but I remember reading that they're lovers of mischief. 🤔
if i recall correctly Kitsune that serve the Kami of the harvest Inari-sama are "Good" however Kitsune are tricksters by nature and those that don't serve Inari are known for this, that said even amongst these tricksters there are "nice"individuals ...yet there are many Kitsune who prefer Molevelant pranks or worse .... honestly when it comes to Kitsune or nearly ANY Yokai you can find examples of any temperament, personality and/or moral alignment ...thats one of the reasons i really like reading up on them heh

@@kaegb3 There are some that are good (Zenko) and some that are bad (Yako) but it was pretty clear that this was the former not the later. The belief that they are tricksters comes from Yako but really it stems from their illusion and shape shifting ability.

I sure wish my brother would have gone on Bray Road so that I would have the opportunity to see the Beast, take a pic of the creature, and send it to Linda Godfrey as well as darkstories.org so that you could use my pic in the videos, just to prove the world that the Beast of Bray Road actually exists.
I grew up on Bray Road - in fact, we lived about 1 mile from the end of the road closest to Burlington. I never actually saw the beast, but about 2 years before the recent sightings, I decided to face my fear of the woods (I was 16 at the time) and rode my bicycle into them. I was only in about 1/2 mile - shouting distance from my house, when something started throwing stones at me. I couldn't see what it was but began to panic so I rode out of the woods as fast as I could. In the 4 years we lived in that house, we never wanted to go out after dark. We always felt something was watching. I moved across town that year, but when the sightings started, I wasn't surprised and I spoke with several very reputable neighbors who confirmed they've seen it.

I just read that Ron Rice of Lake Geneva claims to have seen the beast twice in Lyons, which is close to Bray Road. His brother also lives next to the area. Even Danny Morgan saw the beast and took a blurry cell phone video of it two years ago.
It’s a type of yokai (demon/spirit) benevolent but to try to find one would be nearly impossible unless it comes to you. Also there are bad ones as well but they aren’t white.

I can understand the guy who got calmed by nature even in his worst time. I suffered of depression too, but was never suicidal. I just felt like a tree slowly dying and rotting from the inside to leave an empty husk that still looked like me. I once went out and got surprised by a storm. It poured like crazy and caused trees to fall and I was in the middle of that madness and suddenly felt alive like I hadn't for a long time! To make things even weirder: the rain got less and all I could feel was walking in a gentle breeze with some rain whereas around me I could still witness the terrific force of nature. Even time seemed to run slower and that annoying chatter in my head of all my problems and worries had stopped and I was just in the moment.
We made it to anchorage the next day? There is a whole Country name Canada to cross before you can even get to Alaska it takes 1 day 20hrs non stop to get there.... 😑
Most if not all of these stories are fake. Can’t you tell from how overly descriptive they always are? The use of phrases that nobody would ever use? The fact nearly all the protagonists are teenagers?

That road reminded me of one my friend told me but I could never find it cause he said it was unnamed and if they went in '98 it could've been taken away you know
