Wicked Strong Ophanim Xaku Tank Build

  • First full build video in a bit, and I wanted to take some time to share a new Warframe build I have been having a lot of fun with. That would be my Ophanim Eyes Xaku Tank build. It has mobile armor stripping with strong damage buffing from Xata's Whisper, and is currently modded for lots of damage reduction as well as avoidance. Virtually everything you could want on a weapons platform, minus the self-healing (which we cover with Equilibrium + Operator Arcane for +300 health on Transference).
Using this build, in conjunction with the proper weapon synergies, holds no issues at all with clearing Steel Path content while playing Solo. This gameplay footage was clipped from a 1hr SP Murmur Survival Fissure. I feel this build represents a milestone for me and how far I've come with some of my Warframe builds considering that just a year or two ago, my Xaku would not have been capable of dealing either this much damage or maintaining such a strong degree of survivability on top of it all.
I will possibly in the future cover his Pillage build that I created for him, but as of now, I plan to work on other Frames which I have not yet covered. I likewise, may cover some specific weapons in the coming days and weeks until 1999. Jade Shadows actually brought with it some very nice changes to the game with regards to both Ophanim Eyes as a Subsumable, as well as those to statuses. Namely, those like Blast/Magnetic. Magnetic and Corrosive on the Tenet Glaxion work to quickly neutralize armor and shields/overguard, which stacks with Ophanim Eyes in regards to time needed to full strip. Blast deals phenomenal damage directly to unarmored enemies, health. It also has amazing synergy with both Xata's Whisper + Ophanim Eyes, and deals large amounts of AOE damage which we want for ad clearing. Radiation is ultimately for an additional status to add to the Galvanized Stacks, as well as additional CC from the confused enemies, reducing chances of actually being damaged even further.
Blast + Electric Laetum is highly recommended on defenseless enemies!!! Especially with Xata's Whisper!
Harmony; Great Acolyte slayer and hugely useful for dealing with targets that have high health/DR like the Necramechs.

Looks interesting. It is a challenging thought to not not maximize the void gun count with high range. But I have been looking for a tough durable Xaku build.

Yeah this build doesn’t quite spec into his void guns but it does get a nice bonus during relic fissures. And is intended to play more into durability and the rest of his kit with the void guns just supplementing the damage.

The problem I have with the max range is that it tanks strength which effects XW% as well as the % of defenses stripped each second with OE.

Can you make a indepth showcase of the build, what you use with it and why? As well as companions to help benefit it?

Sure I could do that. I have to work over the next several days and tomorrow is my only day off but I might be able to tackle that then.

Definitely gonna try this build cause I love xaku but what shards you recommend and what arcanes for operator ?

I am currently running five tau red shards : three for duration and two for strength. I am currently considering removing one of the reds for duration and slotting a Purple for Primary Electric damage

This isn't intended to be a Grasp-centered build. There are a million and one of those. I still use Grasp, however the kit is moreso focused around passive survivability and general weapons platform stuff. Grasp is supplemental to the build rather than being the main course.

Ur harmony build can be made better, Galvanized reflex and a Tennokai mod should be in there.Ther3 are better options than melee elementalist and sacrificial steel.

I've worked on some other builds but I don't think at this time that the Galvanized mods had been released yet. Could be wrong, or I may not have had/used them. I prefer the highest crit chance from Sacrificial > other Steel variants. Galvanized Elementalist is better variant to regular Melee Elementalist, but again I do not believe they were available when I made this build or I simply didn't have them. As for Tennokai, I usually dont use them all that much because they can be kinda annoying if you dont heavy on cue lol.

Which is like 0.25% of the content in the game. Unless you're doing lvl cap cascade/disruption; comment kinda is irrelevant, no disrespect.
Not to mention I have clips on the channel of this same build easily handling lvl 2k enemies no problem. Hell as well as it was doing I could probably do lvl cap with it. Issue is, I'm not really interested in doing two specific game modes just to satisfy other people. I play the game to have fun.

@1badhero level cap is like the big truck of warframe.
I have never seen someone hit it on accident it's always this worthless purposeful effort to justify min maxing.
And anyone farming literally anything will go "oh levels are too high this is inefficient" and reset, because it will be, no matter what build it is there's no justification for going to that high of a level other than justifying a life devoid of ~touching grass~
      no disrespect ofc
