TheKhopesh thats the case with the silencer, personally i would only use the silencer on the t9 carv, due to being able to actually see with it. with the laser sight, I recommend it due to the lack of horizontal recoil anyway.

I auraxed my SAW S to get my GODSAW (NC directive LMG), and I found the silencer helped make it a lot more effective in close/medium ranges. I just wish the SAW S was as accurate. The Gauss SAW S has a lower CoF recovery rate at 13%, where the TMG-50 has 15% (in the same given time frame, I think it's every 0.01 seconds but don't quote me on that). ( ^ This means the TMG can quickburst with far more accuracy, and eek out a considerable higher TTK over the slower bursting with the SAW S.) And the TMG also has a lower first shot recoil multiplier at 1.5x, as opposed to the SAW S' slightly worse off FSRM of 1.65x (10% more recoil on that first bullet for the SAW S).
Laser and suppressor work because... The foregrip does next to nothing (already predictable as you said) so laser removes nothing really and adds hip fire acc. The suppressor works for same reason it always does, silent LMGs ROCK!

Hi Cam, I saw you took an interest into running a lasersight on the tmg-50. I am a TR player on computer, but I also play the ps4 version of the game but as NC. Interestingly enough I had the same theoretical feeling about the Gauss-SAW when I used it for the first time on the ps4 thinking that the compensator/ adv. forward grip would be the best combo to use and I did use that during the beta (very easily too because everything was worth 1 cert each including attachments). When officially released I wanted to try the weapon with laser sight and compensator attachment. Theoretically I was expecting it to be appalling but to my surprise, the side-to-side recoil was actually really easy to manage without the foreward grip and I was fairly accurate at med-long range. Maybe its just me being well adjusted to using the ps4 controller but if you ever have a go with the gun and with those attachments, let me know how you did :)
Zuperiorman Planetside I feel like, without having looking at anything or touching the ps4 version, that the recoil from guns, especially the gauss saw, would need to be completely reworked, as a lot of guns, especially those with nasty kicks (like the MSW-R) would be unusable on consoles.

Le Soleil Rouge the NS-15m trumps the TMG-50 in just about everything, except cqc fights. the TMG can still fight against high rof guns in cqc, whilst the ns-15m is utterly boned. (TMG needs to get those 3 headshots chained, to beat things like the orion.)
Heres a funny tip i got told for aiming in CS:GO and even though this isn't CS:GO i think it could still be used and that tip is quite literally aim for the dick/pelvis because even if you hold the trigger down you've still got bullets going up but it's all up to you aim for the chest or head all up to you
I've tried using this gun and I don't get how people fawn over it. Even with a compensator a lot of shots tend to miss. I rather prefer higher RoF weapons. Only time I can use this gun is between base fights in the open field.
R. Baig Burst firing and abusing its quick recenter time is the key to using this weapon, I generally shot about 8 shots accurately per burst at 40m, with my bursting increasing or decreasing based on distance.
Chris G It's a mix. the 2 most popular outfits tbh would be dasanfall and recursion due to the stat sites they made, the mix part comes from when the orion and betelgeuse had 0.75x ads speed, it made all the great solo farmers with a handful of exceptions, switch to VS, some have switched back already, others are still on VS anyway but yeah, emerald is like, 50%+ VS then like 30% NC and the rest is TR, and i blame dasanfall :D
Joni M if you have a high level medical applicator amd aoe heal on your medic, even if you dont get many heals you can still earn 2-3 per minute. For me, buying grenade bandolier and revive grenades were a great investmen
Depends. Early on, 1000 seems to tale decades. As you get set into a playstyle and spend certs shoring it up, the certs come a lot quicker. With no boosts/membership, I can hit 1000 certs over a couple of days of play at BR97. On my lower BR alts, it takes several days, but that's also because I'm still bleeding certs to get the essentials (suit upgrades, C4, weapon attachments, support tools).
SystemRichie around 10 hours i would say. Depends on the things you do. With Engi and Medic you can Cert somewhat constant. And with the heavy assault you get those delicious points for killing Vehicles. Best "Burst" Certs goes for the C4 and the light assault. thats what i experienced
Probably the most overrated TR LMG. Not in a sense that it's really bad, it's simply not as good as people make it out to be. For instance, the GD-22S would eat this gun for lunch.
Because a weapon "feels" right for some doesn't make it officially good. By all means, this is just middle-of -the-road 167 damage LMG and if you nail it down to TR only, the T32 Bull is just generally a way better option at the distances where the TMG-50 is supposed to shine.
GD-22S is a different weapon. It's a mobile LMG that offers all around accuracy but sacrifices ammunition capacity. TMG -50 is a SAW or squad weapon that is meant more as suppressing fire weapon using firing lanes. You lose all around accuracy for more bullets. GD -22S has 200 bullets in reserve and has to reload every 49 shots for short reload time 3.44 secs. TMG -50 and the NC6S Gauss S need to reload every 74 shots for a short reload of 4.24s. SAWs are more support oriented fire and more suppressive as they have more longevity at pinning down the enemy. They are not flexible precision weapons like NS-M2 or other LMGs with small magazines. They need the extra precision because they have less bullets.
+Samuel Morales A 75 round mag weapon hardly qualifies as a ""suppression" weapon. You need at least a 150/250 round magazines for that and even then one could argue that this whole idea of suppressing fire lanes is this up for debate in this game. In reality the TMG 50 and GD 22S simply don't serve a significant different role. Which is why the GD 22S wipes the floor with it, because it's superior in all the important stats.
rolf ski I disagree. You can do more with 75 rounds. A lot of times the 50 rounds of the GD-22S is not enough to fire on large groups that are spilling over through choke point. TMG-50 and NC6S Gauss SAW S are position fire weapons. They are not ideal moving and firing. They are are best not moving and firing. Being they fire slower than 600RPM and with better recoil than 100 round with similar damage LMGs they can do quite a bit more at suppression than 50 round clips that need to reload more often. They are more sustainable for longer operation.
Wow, I've been using high velocity ammo with no compensator the whole time, maybe that was a bad choice! I might try the compensator. I thought high velocity ammo made it better at long range. Great video, thanks
Jiggle Squirt HVA is a double edged blade, it makes following targets who are at long distances (50m+) easier, but it makes everything else harder. SPA is the direct opposite, it makes following targets who are at lon distances (50m+) harder, but it makes everything else easier. (less TTK, less headshots needed beyond max dmg range, etcetc)
Am I the only one who gets the craziest killstreaks when not playing on main faction?
Vertical recoil is nothing after you mastered the MC6 Gauss SAW with HVA and no grip or compensator. Also a 6x scope.

How hard is it to reach 1000 certs to actually buy a weapon?
