Why hasn't Kia included the 360 degree camera available in some markets? That omission and the allegedly painful speed reminder beeps kill this for me. A shame.

I have to be honest, I’d never heard of this channel and only stumbled across it in my pursuit of Seltos videos as I’ve just ordered one myself.
Video was refreshing somehow, so many reviewers out there these days and so full of themselves and you were just you, I guess!

Loved the passion of Jacobs review. One question regarding KIAs new screens on their dash is, how does the display go when in full sun? Is it still easy to read?
The inside screen is exactly like my Hyundai i30 sedan n, also well done jacob but i do miss matt

Great review, looks like you had a blast. I have one of these on order. Would have been good to see how it performed on the gravel though.
I've just picked up my new Seltos Sport+ and I must say, the speed warning is absolutely INFURIATING. As it is camera based (sees the road signs), it believes the 40km school zones are permanent speed limits and will beep at you incessantly on weekends and after school hours if you do over 40km in a school zone. The fact that this audible warning is on by default, and the only way to turn it off is through navigating laboriously through the menu on the info system to turn it off EVERY TIME YOU DRIVE, makes this just the most ridiculously annoying feature. If I'd known about the school zone thing, I would not have bought this car. Now considering selling and going to a Honda HRV. At least Mitsubishi got it right by not beeping, but simply flashing the speed limit on the dash if you go over. KIA NEED TO CHANGE THIS FEATURE.
KIA 2023 Model is a great Urban City Car. The 2.0-liter engine front wheel drive is awesome. I like KIA Seltos new design much better than Hyundai KONA. KONA is smaller and has far too much plastic outside of the car.

Somebody tell me, what happens when the digital cluster freezes or does not turn on? it is a computer right? So at some point it will fail, what will happen then, driving blindly or wo;n't be able to drive since everything seems connected now, even the start button?
But they bave replaced the lever with a knob for gear in other markets in 2023 model what happened tp ur country's model ?

You sure that's GT? Coz your steering wheel isn't a dial knob but rather a normal gear shifter?
Three words: Drive-by-wire. So nowadays it doesn't matter. Its just a question of esthetics.
@@krane15 if thats what you call it. went to Kia few weeks ago and I was told it would have that. then the video says it doesnt have it.
@@86anpaj As I understand it the hybrids all come with the dial and the ICE variant, uses the traditional shifter. Personally I'm not married to the shifter and actually find the dial more esthetic and convenient. But that's just a matter of taste.

Hey, we don't get this car in Europe!
we have a DCT 1.6 turbo and there is nothing at all wrong with it ...so many people seem not to understand how to use one and criticize it ...its not as refined on down changes as a Golf GTI ( ive had 2 of them ) but it is still a very good transmission, works fine in auto mode and also in manual mode.
What is 'Speed Limit Assist' going to do when it's not school time and it sees 40KPH?
