My straight piped F30! The exhaust note is a nice refined sound that is affordable. No resonator no muffler just cats. Also my car is not tuned so the burbles you hear are natural.
i took out my muffler an put a Magna flow & i also straight piped the res off. I still have the cat, but it sounds mean when the oil is warm. Im gonna stage 1 tune soon for the pops an crackles

Yeah me neither I haven’t had any problems myself! As for preventative maintenance I just go to the dealer because the technicians know these cars like the back of their hand

It drones even with the res on. I guess it's all subjective, but i put back on my muffler and resonator after a few weeks. The sound is just too unrefined, in a bad way (to me)

How did you do the dual exhaust conversion? Did you have to get a dual tip rear defuser?
When I got my 328i converted to a dual tip I bought a rear diffuser that fits a 335i/ 340i to fit it
