Appreciate the upload brother. I currently have a 2014 428i (N26) and I’m running a high-flow catted downpipe with a secondary cat delete and a 435i DINAN free fall exhaust. It sounds really deep and throaty like a mature exhaust note which is what I was going for. I kept a high flow DP bc a lot of the catless dp’s sound “tinny” and rattle from just viewing it online through videos. Next I want to delete resonator bc with the Dinan exhaust it does a great job with no drone and I think it wouldn’t drone as bad with a res delete from other people doing it. I want more volume. Do you have any drone w your setup now?
For that I need to have some tuning, right? My 320i is stock, isnt only changing the downpipe to 3 inch and the entire pipe to 3 inch, or yes i could do it? Another question, could I use the stock downpipe with a size conversion of 2.5 inch to 3.0 inch and install just all the pipe 3 inch and it sounds the same way that yours?, and the last one, doesn't it show any fault?
Tuning isn’t necessarily required to run a downpipe, but you will not see the same power gains without a tune, and the improperly tuned air fuel ratio might cause the ECU to overspin the turbo, potentially damaging it. Yes, you can use some type of coupler to go from 2.5” to 3” but the exhaust will not run efficiently, especially without a tune. The ECU will be making way too many adjustments and it may decrease the life of your turbo as previously stated.

They provide it.. its an exhaust/muffler shop, pipes and a whole lot of metals bro. They got the bending machine, fabricating metals and all! 90% of reputable muffler shops have a lot of pipes in store ready to do whatxhu want
2014 F30 320i and I’m at 178k stock motor still runs good. Faithful oil change every 5k only things I’ve did was replace lpfp, fuel pump control module, battery, and that’s it

Yeah, you can safely do about 320whp with methanol injection, which I’m considering. 140k miles now. The 320i has a higher compression ratio than the 328i, so my car loves ethanol too (burns cooler, higher octane, more boost).

Yeah, it drones. I put a small 4" inch bullet muffler by Totalflow on it and it sounds amazing now. Might do an update video.

I removed all CELs. It’s from a lean AFR but that’s to be expected when you install an intake and can be remedied with a tune.

You’d be surprised how many shops don’t provide 3inch. I got lucky finding one shop out of the 20 shops near me who actually does 3inch.

Thanks man! I would say keep up with oil changes, oil catch can, use ethanol if available, and use a fuel system cleaner.
I also have the N20 engine in my F30, currently at 150k miles and still going strong!

It was $500 flat. I have a good relationship with my shop though so your mileage may vary. I’ve heard as high as $1K
