I was 18 or 19 when this song came out and I just loved being young. I'm retired now and it was a long journey but what I wouldn't do to go back for a week or two.
Barry also did a few cameos on songs to lend his high pitched voice to a song. One of my Favorite songs he did that in was by and artist named Robert John and his song "Sad Eyes" he also had a very high pitched falsetto off the charts.
They put on a helluva show in 1979 in the BJ CC IN Birmingham Alabama with the fabulous Sweet Inspirations! The place was packed with about 18000 fans! You could still use Laser Lights back then and they were really put to work !!
They had a younger brother named Andy and he was also a singer but had a short lived solo career as he passed at a very young age.The twins Robin and Maurice are gone also,so Barry is alone now sadly.
my husband still listens to beegees on the DL. if his friends knew they would laugh because he grew up Metallica. everytime we do a home repair, remodel, outdoor projects you can bet beegees are coming out because they do give you that pep in your step.

The saddest thing is that Maurice and Robin Gibb have both passed away so Barry is the last Bee Gee left, and is still releasing new music. Amazing that he had all those decades with his brothers, singing and writing music together, and what a legacy!
