Hope you enjoy this joining technique as much as I do. I love how it takes a heavier yarn weight blanket and turns it into something light and airy. Plus it's just really pretty. Let me know if you give it a try! xx
I have 3 blankets behind me! Roz, I subbed last week after getting frustrated with paper patterns. I am quitting smoking. I have an anxiety disorder. I didn't think I liked this until I followed your tutorials. Yesterday was a horrid day. My uncle was killed in a horrific car accident and I was a mess... Nothing to do with my hands... Until I grab my fave bundles and sit down. It kept me calm to make squares all night. And I'll use the squares to make a blanket for his wife, my aunt. Bless you.
Oh, Indy 💔 I’m so utterly sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. Thank you for your message, what you are doing to help get through it is beautiful and I’m SO glad you have found something to help you through your anxiety. Congratulations to you on quitting smoking. Not easy but you’re doing it and that is something to be very proud of. 🙏🏻💕
I absolutely love this method. If I would have seem this a couple of years ago when it came out, my blankets would all be joined like this. I have a blanket that needs to be joined, and now I can't wait! ❤
I watched several videos on this method and yours is by far the best and easiest to understand. I like that you start on the square BEFORE the corner.....makes it so much less confusing. Thanks for such a wonderful video!
I wanted to make a flower cardigan and this is way too perfect to join the squares together. Thank you very nicely done. I could even watch it without sound and just subtitles. Thank you!
Thankyou so much for this Amazing Tutorial! Very easy to understand and you speak English throughout the tutorial which is a plus, because a lot of tutorials people are doing, they don’t even speak English which is super annoying, So thankyou so much for sharing your awesome Talent.
Easy enough to follow your voiced steps along with the great camera work. I am an experienced Crocheter and I enjoyed this change for attaching Granny Squares together. Thanks much!
Wow! What an easy method to follow. I can say it's one of the nicer pattern on the internet for joining. All the others are the same. Thank so much... so pretty!
It is so pretty and lacey!!! Definitely a pattern I'll be working!!! Thank you so much for sharing and taking your time doing a video!!! Have an enjoyable, relaxing and safe weekend 😎 😊 😀 ☺️!!!!!!!
It's me again. One of the easiest instructions l have seen, this lady is wonderful. Speaks legibly, thorough, reassuring, repeats of optional methods. Would you please start to do videos where you only show joining methods. Especially the lacey ones. They are so FRIGHTENING to figure out by myself. You seem to get this all across to us, without feeling intimate by the complexity of the pattern. Please consider!
Finally found the perfect stitch on how to sew together my granny squares! Planning to use this technique to make my Belly from The Summer I Turned pretty inspired top. Thank you so much for this tutorial, Roz. ❤
It seems like mother in law’s often get a bad rap. But, I was super lucky that mine was my friend. She’s been gone for a few years now and I’m sad at times that I can’t ask her for help as I progress with my crochet projects. Thanks for doing these videos. Hopefully she knows I am remembering her. She did such beautiful work!!!
I had ask about blocking earlier. I answered my own question. I joined 4, and it looks great. Thank you so much for your easy instructions. Sometimes my brain goes one way ,when it should have gone the other way. You made it easy for me❤❤
I'm late to the party here, but what a great way to join. I can't wait to try it after I finish my current 27582 projects! Or maybe I'll add it into one of those. 😂
Thank you for this. I'm making my first granny square afghan and I always get intimidated by joining them. I love this look. I could single crochet them together, but wanted to do something you do see often and this is perfect. I will try it with a few squares I have ready. I just love this.
I am using this join for a jacket where I don't want to make the squares larger and I want a little airiness so I can wear it a warm climate. Your video it really easy to understand and slow enough to see what is going on. Thank you!
I have just made a lot of the sun burst squares and was looking for something unusual to join the squares together and chose your joining method and my cardigan is looking fab Thank you for your demonstration
I am so grateful for this video!! What a gorgeous method to join the squares. I used a rainbow stripe color changing to join my squares and it looks incredible ❤
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have been trying to do this on some granny squares and I have. This is the reason I don't like granny squares because I have to spend so much time joining them and I don't like the the old fashioned join with the Black Ridge in the middle I wanted something different and I found instructions for this braid but the written instructions had me confused and while I did manage to get a couple of them joined I put it away because I couldn't follow the pattern I was getting lost and when I saw a previous video of yours and I saw that flat braid I know I had to go find you a tutorial. This makes it look so much easier than what I was reading so thank you very much.💖
I just love your videos , you know how to hold your hook the right way. That’s the way all of the old ladies held Thor hooks 60 years ago when I learned to crochet. It’s hard sometimes to follow the people who hole their hooks like a butter knife. Guess I’m just getting oldLOL
I get so happy when I hear from someone that holds their hook like me. I’ve tried the knife hold but it’s very difficult for me. I’ve heard it’s better on the joints but I’m very comfortable this way. 👏🏻👏🏻💕
Thank you so much! I've been putting a cardigan together and so far I've tried 2 different joins and I don't like either. I've put the project aside for that reason but THIS looks more like what I'd like! I'm new to crochet and this looks easier for me since I'm having trouble counting and starting in the right place. Also the look it gives is fabulous!!!
Thank you so much for this video! I was looking for an easy way to join my granny squares together because I made oversized sunflower squares and was having problems with them puckering and this design helped them lay flat.
