    THIS VIDEO IS AMAZING! We have a similar model; I watched your video step by step, and I was able to replace our shorted water temperature sensor ourselves. Probably saved 200-300$ in service call. THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!! 5 stars

    Thank you for the video. I repaired my Jandy pool heater using your video. My JXi400N heater was giving me a fault code; "SHORTED H2O SENSOR" and was showing a water temperature of "120F" when the pool was at "56F".

    Thanks for the helpful video. I have the same heater that had the same exact problem. That $20 fix saved me a bundle in a service call! It was very simple to change. Pinch a Penny wanted $160 for the Jandy sensor. No need to spend the extra money.

    Thank you so much!!! I can’t even guess what my pool guy would have charged me to do this.

    My wires go to a different location. Not on side. Is there a newer model or video?

    great video, what is the brass octagonal nut below that sensor? mine is leaking

    • @tiverton
      @tiverton  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a water pressure sensor. It detects that there is enough flow of water through the heater before it activates heat. Prevents the heater from running dry and burning Itself up.

    Is this the same thing as fault high flue temp by chance?

    Thanks for the video much appreciated. I have the same Jandy model that you have, but the screen on mine unit stated Fault High Limit. Is that mean my temperature switch need to be replace? Is that different from temperature sensor?

      I'm not sure about that one.

    Great video! I hope to do the same soon. Can you splice in the wires from the new sensor on to the old wires?

    Next time pop the lid on the pump to release the pressure and get yourself a pair of channel locks.

    My issue is the opposite…the heater says the water is 80 but the remote says it’s 110. I tried controlling it without the remote and it’s still not working.

    • @tiverton
      @tiverton  ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably the other temperature sensor is bad, the one on the pipe coming out of the pump.
