Great review mate, really relaxed and informative. I can imagine this video will do well. They look like a cracking boot. It's nice when you find something that fits you really well. Footwear is absolute minefield.
Hi Bob, nice review. I would deff have considered these for a technical winter climbing boot if i still climbed in winter. I'm not so convinced by the built-in gator. I would worry how hard it is to clean the area between the outside of the boot and inside of the gator when you end up in a bog. I used to have yeti gators on my boots and whilst great in snow etc they became a great place for mud to fester. Have you reviewed/owned a winter mountaineering boot at the less technical end eg winter walking and low end scrambling?
Hi Alisdair, thank you for stopping by again - hope you are well. Interesting point about the gator (so far so good for me, but will let you know if changes). Have you seen my quick overview of the La Sportiva Aequilbriem LT GTX? I should probably do a 250 mile review on these as I am pretty sure I am close to that kind of mileage. They are amazing boots they really are!
Nice review!.... How long would you say it took to get used to wearing a B3??.... I picked up some Phantom Guides for a great price and am heading to the Alps at the end of the month. B3s feel super clunky compared to the Sportiva Aequilibrium 🤦🏽♂️😆 but they'll be no good for the routes we're doing.
Hey buddy, thanks for stopping by 👍. It took me 3 hikes/adventures to get used to them! Had to make some adjustments with the inner sole. Totally different experience in comparison to the aequilibrium, yeah!
Thanks for watching 👍 Please consider subscribing as I plan to do a lot more product reviews over the coming months! 🏔🥾
Great job. So cool for introduction boots.

Nice one mate!😀
Great review Bob 👍🏔️
ATB Simon 🤠👍
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
It must be a thing with the La Sportiva insoles. I’ve got a pair of hiking boots by them and am considering changing the insole.
Yeah using the scholl active ones made a big difference for me!
