Hi James, great video!! Finally someone comparied thes boots!!! Thanks a lot!!!!! the G-tech size 44 fitted my feet pretty well! Do you think i need 44,5 in th G-summet or is a 44 roomier already???? Thanks a lot 🎉
@@andysteiner8900 thanks very much! I would probably go for the same size as G summit definitely has more room than the g tech for colder conditions. Hope this helps
@@SebastienDegardin the summit of mont Blanc temperatures can vary massively by the day. Even in summer. G TECH should be fine for most summers but G summit would be the safe option, especially if in spring. Also it allows you to do more high trips in the future.

Hi James, What LaSportiva boot would be sufficient for a Scottish winter predominantly hiking & Mountaineering? Aiming to say bag the highest peaks of GlenCoe or Torridon? Really enjoyed the video 🙌🏼 very informative & hopefully 1 day I’ll be needing a pair of the Summit & Evo boots!

Serious question, why are all of these types of boots so insanely narrow? Especially in the toe box? Any possibility of ever getting a more anatomical shape in the toebox?

James. Another excellent overview... your right there's a lot of info to get across to people... Awesome :)

Just picked up a pair of the La sportiva G2 evo . Was so surprised how light these are for a size EU 44 . Pretty amazing comfortable double boot.

Any recommendation for climbs like Mont-Blanc in Spring/Summer. Surely GTech or GSummit. ? Thoughts? Thanks!
