My former Father-in-Law told me to grease up machinery right after using it. That way, because it was just used, the areas are already warm and will accept grease much easier. Then when next needed, that particular lubrication job is already done and you can get your project started more quickly! I'm really enjoying your channel. Be well, be safe!

Oh AntsPants, what an episode, I can relate to so many things you experience in this episode, keep it up. I was a "timber faller" for about 10 years in South Australia (originally from Finland) I started working at age 12, and had my first chainsaw at 13, a 70 cc McCulloch, we made all repairs ourselves, with my fathers help we made mufflers and spark arrestors (in australia summers are very hot and mufflers need spark arresteros to prevent forest fires). Seeing you replace the starter spring brought back many memories, I cant remember how often we just shortened the spring by heating it up and rehardenned the tip after softening it, I absolutely love this episode, there are so many things that trigger good memories for me. Over all this is my favourite channel on youtube with Kris Harbor Naturally Building the hot second. Keep it up Ants Pants. Maybe one day I'll drop in when visiting family in Finland ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not many people can figure things out quickly on their own thinking these days. You are definitely very smart and I love your videos.. Thank you for letting me enjoy watching something. Turned out I didn't have cancer and they fucked me up and I ended up partially paralyzed and I am now unable to work except for a little job here and there, but I can't get on a ladder anymore. 2 years ago I was doing roof jobs and chimney rebuilding, and then 2 months later I had the brain surgery and now I can put up railings on steps and little things like that. For the tractor , it is best to install a soft plug heater and no that will make a huge difference in quick summmer like starts .

Anymore a great many chinesium lights come with a plug. Which makes sense when you know you will be changing them every few months. So I always put a weatherproof outlet box wherever I mount one. A little vaseline on the prongs doesn't hurt either. You will be using it often!!

Found this channel pretty recently, like just a week or two.. I've plowed thru the Cabin serie. Omg what a guy!! Also your little anger outbursts is so relatable.. Like if I'm on the second floor and drop my hammer it feels good to curse a little bit. Sometimes I just start laughing tho. Very good content! More of this!! ps. Don't know if this is interesting to you but your channel was in my recommended section because I watch lots of Camarata and Diesel Creek.. The creek guy btw put tracks outside of his wheels on the bobcat skidsteer.. Not removing the wheels just adding on it, Looked like it worked really good.

Hey Rob, thanks for the keen interest in the videos :D Yeah i remember Matt (diesel creek) saying that the over wheel tracks are great, i experimented a bit with chains and that's a huge difference. The tracks thing though cost a lot (about 2 to 3k $ ) so i think i will either get some proper chains or just buy a new set of wheels

A do it yourself magazine named Popular Mechanics, did an article about the exact problem. The only difference was they installed the light at the bottom of the box. This way the heat rose up and filled the entire box with warmth.
