Don't fill up a filter, you can introduce contaminants wich can clog or seize injectors.
You are supposed to install a filter dry,and to prime it via the electric pump or an inline hand pump.
Same for oil filters, you prime them at start up,it takes one second more than a cold start with an empty filter.
There is a bunch of contaminants in a new engine oil from a brand new jug.
Same on hydraulic systems, you have to fill an installation and prime via a filter.
oil and fuels are dirty even new from the industrial processes and storages they result of.

    Hi, great video as always!
The engine stalling under load seems more like a hydraulic problem to me. Hydraulic oil gets very thick when could and will put excessive load on the engine which could cause it to stall until the oil warms up and gets much thinne thus putting up less resistance going through the pump and motors. You could try a thinner oil like 32 instead of 46 but that might cause problems in summer or on long working hours because it gets too thin at some point... Could be worth a try the problem is serious enough

I have been dreaming of a generous Santa back in Canada that showers me with off season gifts, but to no avail so far. The power of adding chains is so incredible. If Santa is out of additional chains you can make a custom set in a few hours at about 25% of the cost of store bought that will be even more heavy duty. Loved to see the clip of your niece and Nephew Andris. They obviously love their Uncle and enjoy the lovely home you heave created for them.

I am just a fool on the internet with fantasies... I am NOT suggesting in any way Santa is a crooked man that lives alone in a very remote location with children... oh sorry elfs.
On another angle... I was watching a guy in LA? Even winter diesel can produce a waxy mush that coats up filters if its cold enough, but this melts away when either filter or fuel running through it warms it up.. Also breather for tank can clog with ice, restricting flow. Looked like your firewood was keeping it warm and cosy inside the farmhouse at the end of the video 😎

Flat pump means it can't suck fuel from the tank. If it only happens on cold it is probably wax with mud build-up inside a fuel pickup cup. If fuel return is going back to the cup(as it does in my diesel car for example) then it warms up that mess inside the cup and it works fine. You should check that fuel pickup cup.

The issue with the Bobcat might be in the fuel tank. You mentioned that the primer bulb had been sucked in -- the only way that could happen is if the suction line from the fuel tank became clogged / obstructed and the fuel pump sucked all of the fuel out of the line causing the primer bulb to suck in. You may have a foreign object in the bottom of the fuel tank that periodically gets near the fuel line intake and clogs it up starving the Bobcat of fuel -- hence the stalling issue.

    • @Ants_Pants
      @Ants_Pants  ปีที่แล้ว

I only ever use rear chains… tie your chains up super tight - if you don’t, you’ll spin your chains right off or you’ll end up on top of a chain tail and snap your chains right off.
You should look at a seal kit for the (drivers right) spool valve for the drive motor…
Injectors and fuel pump would be my bet - Goes away when its warm because thinner fuel and tighter tolerances in the pump??? TOTALLY NOT A MECHANIC…

Your chair needs a name. Since it's meant for butts and it's Soviet, maybe Sbuttnik? Or Sbuttnik 9000 or something 🍑

It takes more fuel to run a cold engine than a warm one, that’s what a choke is for. Maybe that’s why it resolves when it’s up to operating temp. And if that ball is sucking flat try loosing if your fuel cap just a little and see if that resolves the issue

Time for a skidsteer->3 point adapter project. Not only for the plow, but also for any other 3 point attachments you might get.

Logic, if the hand pump is being sucked flat the problem is either the tank vent or the tank suction...simples !

Yeah you definitely also need chains for the front ties. Piece of crap. 4 is better than 2 right.? You’re not good in math, right…… 😂

Bobcats and all other skidsteers are very back heavy and you should always go up hills backwards or they can flip over due to the weight in the back, and you probably could use 60 amps for welding if you warmed the rods up first your rods are cold need to be warm

How about a timed fuel output test, to see if the pump is delivering a constant rate or flow of fuel. One time, I found an empty aluminum coke can just floating around in a truck’s saddle fuel tank. Occasionally, it would get stuck or wedged at the output side of the fuel pump and it ended up blocking the flow of fuel to the engine. I am confident that you will find the problem.
