It’s actually a gag line from a lot of Miss America Pageants. The host at some point usually says “everyone’s a winner”. So I think Rob said that as a joke.

the gag that sofia vergara has a thick accent is running thin. ANd it just sounds obnoxious when some Americans pay her out for it- she speaks amazing English! Everyone has an accent- and American accent isnt the default accent of the world.. ps love Amy Poehler in this, what a great skit

    • @TheGayceatron

razmataz13drums oh my goodness YES!! I cannot stand Sofia vergara, there's no way her accent is still that thick after working in English for 10+ years.

@@TheGayceatron lol It happens, I’ve been working in customer service my whole life, I’m Dominican and I also have an accent after all this time. It’s a pretty decent accent but still, you can tell I’m not a North American. Colombians specially have difficulties because of their Spanish accent they already have, It’s not only her. Please don’t judge If you don’t know how hard It is because If we come to this, I’d like to see you trying Spanish without an accent or Spanish at all.🙂

@@TheGayceatron respectfully. My aunt has been in the states for 30+ years. Her accent is very thick. She mostly speaks Spanish when at home and taught all her children to speak Spanish. My mom in the other hand mostly spoke English when she came to the states. Her accent is not thick and most days I don’t notice it. We don’t know Sophia- or how much she might me speaking Spanish when she is not on camera. I would just assume that her accent is very very real.
