You need to do a Cairns video soon. It would be so busy literally every place is on there even flowers. Plus people on the beaches can order from southside and vica versa. I reckon many long deliveries. Paid holiday I reckon.

Honestly you got me hooked on this as a viable side gig, completed my first 30 orders for the juicy Uber bonus, gonna deliver on an EUC in Southbank in the future think it's gonna be a good time
I went for a dashing session on Monday lunch on the GC but Doordash was really annoying, like one zone was busy I would head there and would get no orders, I would end dash only to find out that the zone was dead grey... I turned on UE instead and got an order within 2min. Ended up doing UE from 12pm until 4pm. Traffic was horrendous but I'm on a motorcycle so I can get thru a bit easier. I would absolutely HATE doing it by car. Gold Coast council really need to work on that.
I saw alot of other people out there on bikes (both motorised and pedal bikes) and they would have been doing alot better than me on the day time stuff especially when it came to traffic. I just got jammed so many times

@@vdub4216 hey mate, I don't have a lot of experience in GC I work mainly East Brissy and Slacks Creek area. But from what I know you better have UE too, DD can be really quiet and doesn't do quests. Today, Friday lunch at South Bank I only did $40 in 2h... I only got small $5 deliveries I wish it was from UE as they sometimes have quests like $40 bonus for 10 deliveries... but I'm letting my UE rest a bit to get better bonus next week hopefully. Good idea on getting a small bike you ll save on fuel and being able to lane filter is primordial.

Travelling Australia is always great 🙂🤘 Regards to 'save alot of money', because it all comes down to what your expenses are as to how much you have left over, everyone will be different 🙂

Haha yeah I got eaten in that respect. I always go back to it takes 100 deliveries in a zone, to understand the zone... I was still in that 100 delivery learning curve here haha
@@chrisbooy yeah it's taken me a about a week to work it out , I try and avoid high rise suburbs like main beach, Southport and surfers and stay in zone as best I can doing short trips in and out. Otherwise you end up all over the place lost as fk and no parking etc 😂
@@vdub4216 So many tips bro, don't know where to start 😂 Only way to learn is the hard way like the rest of us. Haha. Number one is stay away from Surfers, Broadbeach and Southport if you can. You'll get a lot of orders but you'll waste half your night looking for parking, texting customers and going up and down elevators. You'll be so stressed you won't sleep for two days 😂 They will try and offer you big money to drive miles out of your zone. It's extremely tempting but trust me don't do it ! You will end up half way to Brisbane or worse and have to drive all the way back to get orders wasting fuel and time. Time is money. Aim for short quick orders $7+ within 5-6km of your hot zone and hustle like crazy. When you learn which restaurants are slow (eg Macca's) and it's busy, instant decline and move on. Watch Chris's videos they are funny and great for tips and for advanced tips watch @YourDriverMike and @FritzMorris the guy is an absolute machine ! You'll have good days and bad but the more you do it the easier it will get. See you out there ! 😊

I reckon the cretins on the Gold Coast got off pretty light in terms of the lack of roasting given how hard you leaned into country bumpkin mode for Toowoomba haha. You put a lot of effort into the journey and the banter with your videos, but don't go shaming the earnings breakdown hunters haha; there's room for content that is literally just orders, commentary on orders and the financial breakdown at the end of the shift sometimes. Accepting every order for a trip makes for some interesting videos just to see how it stacks up to cherry picking (doesn't seem to make a massive difference at all when averaged out over the week based on a bunch of videos).
