Love your content Chris! You portray accurately some of the pitfalls like parking problems near restaurants, long wait times and delivery destinations that are far from nearby restaurants. You helped me get better at the game more quickly! Thanks!
Great content mate! I was searching for videos that talk about how much can you earn on DoorDash. I was just registering yesterday but haven't got any transportation vehicle yet. This is a good prospect, but I'm still looking for a good full-time job since I'm currently a student. Cheers to more Dash content bruv!
Awesome video, 2 things they need to bring back so can do shop and deliver only option also 2nd they need to make it like uber where u log off but still keeps what u made up for that day instead of resetting everytime u log off
i got all excited about your stallion then i remembered your tuning laws, and hoon laws, and everything that is a normal likeable thing around me all day. the ham sammy did make me happy though and taiga jumped at me now im vibing. imo 348$ is very solid, if only australian money was real!
@@chrisbooy Thanks Chris and you forgot the k's when editting, but much appreciated. If your unemployed you can do this and equal the dole. I hope you have a good day at work mate.
I'm thinking of going with DoorDash, but I'm terrified that I'm going to be hit with marketing emails that I can't cancel, so I'll start with UberEats first.
Wow not even a small tip! If it’s a hard working Aussie driver; I always tip. The rest get a tip if they follow my delivery instructions and actually find my front door. Usually they don’t.
Sign up with the link in the video description and give it a go. I know a second year plumber doing it for an extra $100 a week until he gets to qualified then he will just pick up extra work as a tradie. If you cant get a half day Saturday to pick up the pay on the trades, just log in and do some driving that week
I generally dont, but will head towards where restaurants are. Hotspots are for new drivers who dont know the area to give them an idea where restaurants are 🙂🤘
@chrisbooy I'm pretty sure the Shinkansen runs through the whole country? Tokyo is an awesome city! If you like the theme parks check out Disney Land/Sea. Disney Sea was great! Kyoto was cool, has the golden temple and this interesting area called Gion. Nara is the deer town if you wish to check it out. Super chilled and cool little streets...
Fuel was about $45 in my car, and tax gets charged on any job you do to your marginal bracket. But... using an ABN you open up alot of tax deductions you may not be able to do without an ABN.
Video shows earning potential, everyone is different regarding Tax and Deductions. My situation for example is so long as I keep earnings under $600 a week, and my logbook % above 60 for business use, anything I earn is tax free as my deductions offset my earnings, and no car expenses as its EV under a NL. Its also why i dont use Chris's method for job acceptance, i dont care about KM to Pay ratio, the further the better for me (increases logbook % for business use), i only care about earnings per hour.
Its been like that in Australia since the start. Customers cannot add tips before they place the order, so it stops DD dropping the base to the US extremes and letting customers make up for it with tips
Maybe like... 2% leave a tip...in my experience. But.... I prefer the system we have where all the costs are upfront, all the order is upfront, and customers just pay what the work is worth.
You also have to be registered for GST if turnover >75K so again already lost 10% of earnings before anything else. This is not a good main job unless your alternatives are lower.
"ALL you have to do is wait..." waiting is dead time, I don't understand why your not spending that time looking for other things to do in your down time
I wish we wouldn't do these videos in our area. I'm a DoorDash driver in the areas that you are showcasing. You are crippling my work by bringing in new DoorDash workers, you are destroying our area thanks Chris. Not that you care as you already have a full-time job you only doing this part-time, since you've started doing and promoting the area, I'm waiting times waiting for jobs have increased significantly with new door dashes.

Amazing content bro! Loved it

I drive dinner to 1:30am in Melbourne. Only make about 100 bucks. No shop and deliver. Traffic is hell during day time
Awesome video, 2 things they need to bring back so can do shop and deliver only option also 2nd they need to make it like uber where u log off but still keeps what u made up for that day instead of resetting everytime u log off
I agree to both points. Its better control for the driver
Solid Dash Chris!
Cheers! 🙂🤘

Hey Chris with all Coles orders are they just collect or do you have pick also? Cheers
I do a blend of both 🙂 It lets you know if you are shopping or just picking up on the offer screen
AWESOME Chris, did you say what day it was please, super relevant, as you know.
Saturday on this one 🙂🤘

Hi Chris, how many total km did you do and what were your fuel costs like?
I've been looking for an Aussie Doordasher on utube. I'm in WA. :) I've been dashing since 2021 & loving it.
Glad you found the channel!
Hey are you in perth?

In Melbourne we don’t get shop and deliver anymore not sure what’s going on
Big day! well done. How many Km's all up?
Probably about 35kms about what the total on the orders are on this one. I dont drive back towards hotspots after orders which reduces it
Hey Chris where did you get your pizza bag from? Thanks!
Fell off the back of a truck 😜🤘
$7.32 for 13km that's criminal
Yeah hard declines on stuff like that
Wow! I'm surprised you took that job at the plaza on a day like that!
It completely skipped my mind until i was almost there 😵
@@chrisbooy crap. Sux when that happens!
Appreciate you mate. You are an inspiration to myself. I wanna go to Japan too. How long you going for? Pokemon heaven
The plan is 3 weeks 🤘🤘

Maybe one day in this Road To Japan series a customer will tip.... but it was not this day 😂
Great job mate
I’m a first year apprentice carpenter and I just got my ps and I’m thinking of doing this on the side. What do yous reckon

Japan is great! Where are you thinking of going/what do you want to see/do?
General plan is staying on or close to the Tokaido Shinkansen trainline. Open to ideas over there of things to do

When you factor in tax say 30%, and probably 80 bucks for a tank of fuel, you're only really keeping around $160. Which is just over $12 an hr.
Fuel was about $45 in my car, and tax gets charged on any job you do to your marginal bracket. But... using an ABN you open up alot of tax deductions you may not be able to do without an ABN.

@@NaoBodiKnows Yeah that's fair. Seems like you've got a good system going. EV would be great for it too as you don't have to worry about fuel costs
Can u do a masterclass of doing tax for dumb dumb ppl? 😂
How would it work if I’m only 17 just got my P and I do it under my dads name would there be any issues?
Just wait until you are 18 :)
Its Doordashs rules, and driver goes through a police record check.
wait, at 8:25 where you at highpoint, Maribyrnong?
No. He is on the Sunny Coast QLD.
For 2024 and the years ahead it's about the dollar amount and if there's no tip and it's good enough then it's a winner
Its been like that in Australia since the start. Customers cannot add tips before they place the order, so it stops DD dropping the base to the US extremes and letting customers make up for it with tips
How many km's have you travelled?
$1 per km is my general minimum... most are above that
im a aussie
How much of that $348.73 do you get to keep after you pay for fuel and tax etc?
About 15% fuel on my car right now with the high prices, and tax will always be marginal brackets to your own overall income 🙂🤘

$127k per year if you did that every day. not bad. still poor.
