So I looked it up. Apparently the red flaps hanging under a chicken/rooster's neck are called "wattles" and they're used for heat regulation. ... I now wish to include "What the wattles" in my regular phrases now. Thank you, Rea. :^3

I got used to it but now since they’ve added new kwami’s I feel the same as I did before. Soon, the whole city will be superheroes

@@sundeers6633 I think they do give Chat Noir credit though. He saves Ladybug all the time and sacrifices himself. If Ladybug did that, there would be nobody to purify the akuma. (But it can be annoying, my poor boy sacrificing himself all the time) I personally like the fact that they showed us new kwamis, I just don't want them all to be used. Why? Because if everybody gets a kwami, even if it's just once, it wouldn't be any special receiving a kwami and becoming a superhero, right? However, I'm very interested in the kwamis. What do they represent, how were they "born", what are their powers etc? I'm very curious to be honest. But I guess we'll have to wait and see.😊
@@birdsocks9083 it was confirmed that at least this season only luka will get snake miraculous. Also that they can fuse them. Marinette will fuse ladybug/dragon and rat/fox miraculouses while Adrien will fuse cat's and snake's. Plus they will also use them so is not like they will give them to other people because they are still our main heroes.
It's this amazing show, no lie I thought it was like a Spongebob or like Adventure Time thing like a year ago when I first saw it, but like I started it and finished everything on Netflix in 2 days (Excluding sleep and work)

I love these designs you made. I agree the official rooster Kwami looks just like a gold chicken, and the horse is creepy! Your Dog design is my favorite. I also love the color you chose for the horse, he looks cool not creepy!
When I was watching the episode where it reveals them all I did feel like there was not enough effort put into their design especially the ox and the dog so I’m really glad you did this ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@bluebay1031 You can do heaps with the red and black patters on Ladybug. There have been so many fun redesigns that people have made and I prefer them over what she has now. You can also add/change what Cat Noir wears with still keeping things black, and you can switch around some of the stripes with the Bee.
There are lots of different patterns on a ladybug's shell! Thomas also says that Marinette's pigtails are supposed to represent a ladybug's wings in flight, but that's kinda boring, give her a cape or something dammit!

And I never noticed the changes they made to the tiger's design!? Why did they do that, I love the first design so much! I love horses and I was hoping for a nice horse design, but the horse's design was probably the most disappointing if you ask me. And I personally didn't like your design that much either, I'm sorry. I do love the others you redesigned, but the horse was too dark purple in my opinion. If you used more different shades of purple and maybe some white (white markings would've been cool, like a special dots pattern on it's head and back or legs for example), I think it would've looked better. But that's just me. I do like the fact that you made it purple though. It made it much more original. And the mane are adorable and awesome. I do love your design for the dog and the pig! The original pig wasn't that bad in my opinion though, I like the black spot around the eye. But I love your curly tail! The rooster is a bit confusing for me. I love the way you used the colours but I also feel like you could've added more color to it. I have mixed feelings about your design haha. Anyway, I love your art and designs and I really enjoyed this video, so thank you so much for sharing! You inspired me to try and redesign them myself.❤ Also, I'm sorry if I bother you with this, but I love the way you draw kwamis and I think it'd be great if you made some sort of small comics with them. I didn’t actually know at first that the other Kwamis were based off of the Chinese zodiac, even though I TAKE CHINESE CLASS AND I SHOULD HAVE RECOGNIZED IT and I was kinda throwing inner shade at the creators IN MY HEAD for making all the kwamis except for Sass, the tiger boi aka my son, the Phoenix, and the dragon barnyard animals. I thought the ox was cool though! But anyways now that you cleared that up for me there is no more shade, and I absolutely love your designs! Glad to see you back Rea!!!!!!!

I personally prefer your designs to the official ones. My reasoning: yeah, these designs are more uniform in appearance; not in that they're bland or uninteresting (*definitely not*) but to sell the idea that they're not only alien-like creatures, but merely resembling these animals and not directly lifted. And, they're not only or colorful, bright and cheery(which you'd think you want for a kids' show), is also fits the superhero aesthetic of bright and flashy.

Its weird, i know the black cat is bad luck and the ladybug is good luck but why not go with the dragon and the phoenix? they both represent the yin and yang way better

I LOVE THESE REDESIGNS!! First time I saw them I was really disappointed too but then I quickly just accepted them cause I knew there was no use being upset over them. But omg after what you said I completely agree, and your redesigns are so spot on! They are totally harmonious with the others while keeping their features! I really like the horse one (and making it purple makes it SO COOL) I love the markings you put on them too!! The dog also has so much more personality and THE EYES ARE SO COOL. Even if they do stand out against the main seven I think that it's a better alternative than the more realistic color palette given in the show (considering all the the actual show is I think that it just seems out of place to have basically all the other kwamis looking as normal as some alien super hero pals can get)

Your redesigns are honestly better. They legit look like the main 7. I plan on redesigning my own versions of all the kwamis as I just have a bone to pick with them all. They don't look alien enough to me.
Your reasoning made do much sense also when it comes to art I think individuality and uniqueness is key, so by posting this, and being positive not bashing the original designs but just saying “hey I just think this would’ve looked better!” And just “I like this!” You did an amazing job! I think I made a comment before about not being able to get into Miraculous before, but, since I've babysat my niece for the past two days, I got further than before and it actually hooked me. I'm already on season 2, and couldn't be more anxious to watch more.

I haven't reached that part of the series yet but I already love your versions more. They are so adorable and match the main seven much better. Now they all look like they are the same species rather than the main seven being different from the Zodiacs. Beautiful work

Orikko didn’t need a beak imo. I love Duusu’s design, because she looks alien but still somewhat reminiscent of an actual peacock with her swoopy tail. I personally feel like Orikko’s design would’ve looked better if he didn’t have a beak. Btw I am absolutely LOVING her redesign of Kaalki. She looks so badass.
I totally agree. When you have bright, colourful superheroes on a kids show, you want all the designs to be bright and colourful, not just a few of the main ones. When we eventually see the other kwamis in use, i want to see bright and colourful superhero designs, not dull colours! ML has been pretty on top of the crazy superhero design thing so far, so I have faith in them!
I love these designs so much, they're so much better than what the show gave us, although personally I think that the rabbit looks too much axolotl-y like the prongs under the ears with the pink makes it look like an axolotl in my eyes
Agree! Her costume is both awful and overrated. Like idk why people praise her design sm when it's literally one of the worst designs in this show. Though the fox and moth kwamis don't have straight up antennae, they have antenna-like ends to their wings and ears. So basically all of them have antennae
Oh yes! I did think so too, those new Kwamis were super akward and bland... In some RPs I played in you can't create your own characters, you have to use canon Miraculous and once all of the main seven are taken there are only Roaar, Longg and Sass that look nice and appealing to play with. But they are usually taken too, and all you're left with are boring, unimaginative designs that give you little to work with... One time I took Dog Miraculous and decided to change the hero's color palette to match the ginger-and-white malamute's fur pattern, because it was closest to that ugly orange color of the Kwami. Because the original designs are ugly and yours are beautiful!
Some of them took a while to realize what animal they are but overall I agree that they look much better! Maybe costume designs next? (Not all of them but I guess a few that you have ideas on)

I personally prefer your designs to the official ones. My reasoning: yeah, these designs are more uniform in appearance; not in that they're bland or uninteresting (*definitely not*) but to sell the idea that they're not only alien-like creatures, but merely resembling these animals and not directly lifted. And, they're not only or colorful, bright and cheery(which you'd think you want for a kids' show), is also fits the superhero aesthetic of bright and flashy.

I LOVE THESE REDESIGNS!! First time I saw them I was really disappointed too but then I quickly just accepted them cause I knew there was no use being upset over them. But omg after what you said I completely agree, and your redesigns are so spot on! They are totally harmonious with the others while keeping their features! I really like the horse one (and making it purple makes it SO COOL) I love the markings you put on them too!! The dog also has so much more personality and THE EYES ARE SO COOL. They're all around SO MUCH better than the original omg

I love how colorful you made them! Even if they do stand out against the main seven I think that it's a better alternative than the more realistic color palette given in the show (considering all the the actual show is I think that it just seems out of place to have basically all the other kwamis looking as normal as some alien super hero pals can get)

Orikko didn’t need a beak imo. I love Duusu’s design, because she looks alien but still somewhat reminiscent of an actual peacock with her swoopy tail. I personally feel like Orikko’s design would’ve looked better if he didn’t have a beak.

I totally agree. When you have bright, colourful superheroes on a kids show, you want all the designs to be bright and colourful, not just a few of the main ones. When we eventually see the other kwamis in use, i want to see bright and colourful superhero designs, not dull colours! ML has been pretty on top of the crazy superhero design thing so far, so I have faith in them!

Agree! Her costume is both awful and overrated. Like idk why people praise her design sm when it's literally one of the worst designs in this show. Oh yes! I did think so too, those new Kwamis were super akward and bland... In some RPs I played in you can't create your own characters, you have to use canon Miraculous and once all of the main seven are taken there are only Roaar, Longg and Sass that look nice and appealing to play with. But they are usually taken too, and all you're left with are boring, unimaginative designs that give you little to work with... One time I took Dog Miraculous and decided to change the hero's color palette to match the ginger-and-white malamute's fur pattern, because it was closest to that ugly orange color of the Kwami. Because the original designs are ugly and yours are beautiful!
