The way I SNAPPED to attention when a comic was brought up as a potential option for getting the story out there lolllll This was so cool to watch and it's awesome seeing the characters/concepts develop!! And all the art is delightful as heck too! Very fun 10/10

If anyone has ever seen that Wendigoon Twitter post replying to a shade of green and going “I just imagined my wife in this shade of green and I got so excited I passed out.” That is Apollo. Point blank.
I can imagine that Neneko's second Prism is actually development on Aloe's part. As a baby she saw someone who was bright, colorful and fun to be with, but as she grew older she knew that Neneko was more complex than that. Someone who was scared to make a connection and the highlight of that was when they broke up with Kat and Aloe said, "This Prism will work better for you." Aloe probably saw the opposite with Kat, someone who wants to make that connection with other people. Which is why her Prism adds colors and is white and Neneko's is black because they refuse to add and you can't see colors in black. As for why Neneko would bother with their second Prism at all.....maybe the better suited Prism you have, the longer you can use it. Like Neneko's first Prism works for about an hour, maybe less, but her new Prism works WAY longer. I'm just throwing things at wall at this point.
Omg, I know in the last sketchbook video there were jokes about how Aloe had a bad impression of Kat (read one that was her falling down the stairs flat on her face) but this idea would be interesting, that Aloe sees Kat as needing friends so makes a prism to help her make connections to others. Can't wait to so what June does, so far the story is really fun to hear and learn about. Even making theories and then all of them getting thrown out for this amazing stuff!
I absolutely adore that last bit, because Neneko's most powerful form, the one that gives them the attention and affection they've always craved, has a harsh time limit to it, which is a permanent reminder that they are not really that amazing person the whole dome adores!!!
@@mechatec2992 Well I was thinking that Neneko's arc is letting people in and it ends with a third Prism because they've overcome their problems. The first Prism is only surface level and their black Prism phase is over so going something that's right in between showing their growth will be good.

I love that Neneko's second prism just goes full blown Chat Noir on us. Like, yeah, it's fairly obvious that Miraculous was a massive inspiration for this universe, and I love to see it.
I think 4koma comics and TH-cam shorts can be a fun way to show off these characters in the meantime, but I think the best thing to do for a larger project is a one-shot comic, which would basically be the comic equivalent to a pilot episode. You could make it a free to read web comic or have it be something people can buy from the kerch store for extra funding for future projects. You could even have a whole team for future comics if you liked making the oneshot and want to expand the story
I will say, a good word to use to describe colors for this power system would be "hues" since thats the placement on the ROYGBV spectrum without taking into account saturation and value (how light or dark a color is), meaning colors like black, white, and grey dont count as "hues", and also something like light blue and dark blue would fall under the same "hue"
God the change in the Apollo and Ben (is that his original liquid radiance court name? shortened?) dynamic is so juicy. LIke before they were friends in a trio and Ben saw Apollo's silent collapse and couldn't see how far he had really gone and they had unconditional trust but Apollo was hiding the secret of his AI Tia and stuff. NOW? Oh my god the custody fun, oh my god the stories they both could share, the happiness finding his daughters alive but then learning his platonic wife/best friend is actually gone(???) not just abyss trapped and does he thank Apollo for giving Tia happiness and love or not cause it still hurts losing someone. and now if he finds AI Tia like, what the fuck is the reaction going to be?!?! And that's just these two out of a cast of amazing characters who i want to see the dynamics of!!!
having a blind character that can perceive light and shadow in a story based primarily around light based magic is SO COOL!! my brain is already buzzing at the thought of all the things the team will learn about radiance through hokoto’s perspective
I love that Aloe is the controller of Prism's MacGuffins. She is the literal representation of the stories progression, manifested so us as the readers can see it. With her power of granting Prisms, her realization and growing fondness of Katrina, it makes Aloe realize she messed up, and her trying to rectify the "magic-less" prism in turn nerf's Neneko upon realizing Aloe's blind admiration of them caused a lot of damage to someone that didn't deserve it. I'd like to think the moment that Aloe is making Sara her Prism, that's when her mother's personality peeks through her otherwise icy exterior: feeling the freedom, independence, and ultimately realizing the power Aloe has to not need other's approval to exercise it. . .BUT then immediately getting the consequences thrown in her face and seeing how that while she has power, it not only affects her and Sara but it throws EVERYONE around her out of balance. We loooooove slightly traumatic character development >:3
There aren't words. There simply isn't enough to explain how god damned much I love this hypothetical series. This entire concept, these characters. The wild ride that has been your art journey, especially with PRISM, has been so unbelievably inspiring. It's made me reconsider my own practices and habits in my art and given me new ideas, tips, and tricks for how to improve, and I actually see progress. (For example, doing digital work as if it were a sketchbook has helped me be more comfortable doing messy sketches and posting them online). I just think it's so crazy to think 5 or 6 years ago, I decided, "Oo, this video looks fun!" And have been here since then. Yourself and the team are truly inspirations and make some of the most delicious art I've had the honor of seeing. I love this channel. I love this community. I'm so glad you made it this far.

The way I was thinking about it when you said that neneko got a new prism that’s weaker than Kats was, oh yeah aloe ships that. She wants neneko to learn to work on themselves so that them and Kat can date again.

Your detail with blindness being a spectrum ironically made me feel seen, thank you for including it! I'm legally blind and have often had a hard time finding media that makes a character with blindness still have agency without completely negating the disability. (ex: Toph with her seismic sense) It's refreshing having Hokoto's character not be 'the blind person'. She is my favorite and I hope she survives the story drafts! If there's anyway I can help with more information on the disability I'd be happy to give personal insight
June.. June I’m shaking you through the screen rn. I don’t think I can reasonably express how much I ADORED prism from the beginning, and now, AND NOW, THIS, THIS IS AMAZING?!?!?! LIKE- I DON’T THINK I’VE EVER SEEN ANYONE DO THIS WITH A PROJECT OF THEIR OWN, IM SO USED TO CERTAIN OC STUFF JUST BEING KEPT IN THE DARK FOR THE COOL LORE DROP MOMENT BUT YOU, JUST LIKE ALOE, HIT US WITH THE STEEL CHAIR OF ALL OF THIS AND IT ISN’T EVEN EVERYTHING??? You and your team are literally so SO COOL!!! Now here are some things I noticed… So, Apollo knows revival is possible, so whatever the heck happened to Tia he knows is reversible in some way, so he isn’t crazy but he is for sure going crazy about that!! He just has to reverse engineer god magic or whatever I’m sure it’ll be fine… And Aloe soulbinding the prisms is awesome!!! The cutest devious little mastermind!!! So she does think Neneko and Kat could make up!! Why else force them to be together, all of the time now??? And the designs for the team are awesome!! I only just registered that Hokoto is Hokoto and GIRL I love that woman sm!! But seriously I love this project so much, I really look up to the fact that you did this and it took off so well, I wanna do something like it myself one day!! I love to think Sara is powerful because she's Aloes best friend that she broke the rule to give a prism to but Sara is a baby not allowed to fight despite being so cool and powerful and Aloe doesn't understand at first

i doubt june is actually going to see this, but i might as well get it out. this series of videos has been one of the most inspiring things i've seen in a long time. the apollo video made me wish i had my own oc to hyperfixate over and the first prism video made me realize that i do, and i can insert them into different worlds that might work better for them. i've actually made some amount of progress on a creative project for the first time in years, and this series is 100% why. i'm so super incredibly excited to see wherever prism ends up going next! also all the characters are so unbelievably pretty, it's actually insane omg

the maximum ride manga style studies were such a throwback for me! i have a panel of it that fell out of the copy i borrowed from the library and i've kept it since i was in middle school ... my art looks nothing like it now but that just proves it's abt the journey . the friends we make along the way

HOORAY ANOTHER JUNE VIDEO TO WATCH ON REPEAT WHILE I DO THINGS :D Its so cool being able to see what older characters turn into over the years, along with the story! Its like when an important character dies in a series and they go "I won't be gone, I'll be all around you, just look and you'll find me" (except they're not purposefully pushing all their wartime responsibilities on a literal infant)
I have been a huge fan for YEARS and repeatedly watch back old videos because the formatting, June's voice, just everything fits so well together. (And you know what also fits? This art in my mouth; let me eat it) I'm so excited to see where PRISM goes from here since I remember when the first ever videos of it came out from the original original redesignings. Okay, I absolutely adore making Kat an incredibly negative person with a very obvious line to heroism. Kat has always felt bland and pretty simple all things considered, and seeing this new brash, angry, pissed off Kat who ends up being the leader of a bunch of people who undoubtably know the space far better than she does is an amazing dynamic
You and your videos have always been such an inspiration to me and I've started some of my most important projects of my life because of you. It was going well, and then I introduced another character, who I realized would lead to The Downfall, and... It's just... Lancelot. And it was hilarious.
I’m obsessed with your art for this series! I’m interested in learning the details about the magic based on state-of-matter, and how each magic type works. Kynthia’s shapeshifting magic feels very liquid to me, because she can change her shape like liquid. Does she practice multiple matter/magic types? Solid magic sounds very interesting to me because that is never how I think of magic. I have always thought of magic as slowing and ever changing. I think exploration of this could be really cool! When I think of solid magic I think of protection magic and magical artifacts.
OMG I love the new design and lore I am sad that Emmi was cut but so thrilled their personality lives on in Neneko! Please do a video going into depth on changes you made to the main characters!!!
My favourite part of this video (besides the delicious lore fuel for my ever-growing PRISM brainrot) is the dome.png that appears *every* time that June says the word 'dome' *without fail* somewhere on the screen. *Excellent* work, editor!
I'm SCREAMING over the character development for Neneko and Kat. Especially with the development of their prisms. Aloe is a clever, spiteful bean that is using her powers for vendettas and match making. Turning the series into a comic could be a solid start for the story, but I'd love to see it develop in any way you see fit. Just the fact that you've fallen back in love with art and breathed fresh life into this world has been such a wonderful and exciting process to watch.

I will say, a good word to use to describe colors for this power system would be "hues" since thats the placement on the ROYGBV spectrum without taking into account saturation and value (how light or dark a color is), meaning colors like black, white, and grey dont count as "hues", and also something like light blue and dark blue would fall under the same "hue"
Neneko going from a villain, to a supporting character, a MAIN ASS CHARACTER is iconic
God the change in the Apollo and Ben (is that his original liquid radiance court name? shortened?) dynamic is so juicy. LIke before they were friends in a trio and Ben saw Apollo's silent collapse and couldn't see how far he had really gone and they had unconditional trust but Apollo was hiding the secret of his AI Tia and stuff.
NOW?
Oh my god the custody fun, oh my god the stories they both could share, the happiness finding his daughters alive but then learning his platonic wife/best friend is actually gone(???) not just abyss trapped and does he thank Apollo for giving Tia happiness and love or not cause it still hurts losing someone.
and now if he finds AI Tia like, what the fuck is the reaction going to be?!?!
And that's just these two out of a cast of amazing characters who i want to see the dynamics of!!!

having a blind character that can perceive light and shadow in a story based primarily around light based magic is SO COOL!! my brain is already buzzing at the thought of all the things the team will learn about radiance through hokoto’s perspective
I love that Aloe is the controller of Prism's MacGuffins. She is the literal representation of the stories progression, manifested so us as the readers can see it.
With her power of granting Prisms, her realization and growing fondness of Katrina, it makes Aloe realize she messed up, and her trying to rectify the "magic-less" prism in turn nerf's Neneko upon realizing Aloe's blind admiration of them caused a lot of damage to someone that didn't deserve it.
I'd like to think the moment that Aloe is making Sara her Prism, that's when her mother's personality peeks through her otherwise icy exterior: feeling the freedom, independence, and ultimately realizing the power Aloe has to not need other's approval to exercise it. . .BUT then immediately getting the consequences thrown in her face and seeing how that while she has power, it not only affects her and Sara but it throws EVERYONE around her out of balance.

There aren't words. There simply isn't enough to explain how god damned much I love this hypothetical series. This entire concept, these characters. The wild ride that has been your art journey, especially with PRISM, has been so unbelievably inspiring. It's made me reconsider my own practices and habits in my art and given me new ideas, tips, and tricks for how to improve, and I actually see progress. (For example, doing digital work as if it were a sketchbook has helped me be more comfortable doing messy sketches and posting them online).
I just think it's so crazy to think 5 or 6 years ago, I decided, "Oo, this video looks fun!" And have been here since then. Yourself and the team are truly inspirations and make some of the most delicious art I've had the honor of seeing.

Your detail with blindness being a spectrum ironically made me feel seen, thank you for including it! I'm legally blind and have often had a hard time finding media that makes a character with blindness still have agency without completely negating the disability. (ex: Toph with her seismic sense) It's refreshing having Hokoto's character not be 'the blind person'. She is my favorite and I hope she survives the story drafts!

So, Apollo knows revival is possible, so whatever the heck happened to Tia he knows is reversible in some way, so he isn’t crazy but he is for sure going crazy about that!! He just has to reverse engineer god magic or whatever I’m sure it’ll be fine…
And Aloe soulbinding the prisms is awesome!!! The cutest devious little mastermind!!! So she does think Neneko and Kat could make up!! Why else force them to be together, all of the time now??? And the designs for the team are awesome!! I only just registered that Hokoto is Hokoto and GIRL I love that woman sm!!
But seriously I love this project so much, I really look up to the fact that you did this and it took off so well, I wanna do something like it myself one day!! I mean.. what else am I gonna do with my way-too-many-cast-of-characters and 5 whole (possibly more) partially fleshed out stories? And you really inspire me to actually use my sketchbook again, I just got some highlighters, another book (because 7 empty ones simply wasn’t enough..) and I’m making cover decorations for one!! I love how free your sketches look, your drawings really give life to your little guys!!

i doubt june is actually going to see this, but i might as well get it out. this series of videos has been one of the most inspiring things i've seen in a long time. the apollo video made me wish i had my own oc to hyperfixate over and the first prism video made me realize that i do, and i can insert them into different worlds that might work better for them. i've actually made some amount of progress on a creative project for the first time in years, and this series is 100% why. i'm so super incredibly excited to see wherever prism ends up going next! also all the characters are so unbelievably pretty, it's actually insane omg

Its so cool being able to see what older characters turn into over the years, along with the story! Its like when an important character dies in a series and they go "I won't be gone, I'll be all around you, just look and you'll find me" (except they're not purposefully pushing all their wartime responsibilities on a literal infant)
Also I can sit and listen to you go off on Prism all day. It's so awesome to hear someone just be creative and have so much fun with their worlds!

Okay, I absolutely adore making Kat an incredibly negative person with a very obvious line to heroism. Kat has always felt bland and pretty simple all things considered, and seeing this new brash, angry, pissed off Kat who ends up being the leader of a bunch of people who undoubtably know the space far better than she does is an amazing dynamic
You and your videos have always been such an inspiration to me and I've started some of my most important projects of my life because of you. Kynthia’s shapeshifting magic feels very liquid to me, because she can change her shape like liquid. Does she practice multiple matter/magic types?
Solid magic sounds very interesting to me because that is never how I think of magic. I have always thought of magic as slowing and ever changing. I think exploration of this could be really cool! When I think of solid magic I think of protection magic and magical artifacts.

I'm SCREAMING over the character development for Neneko and Kat. Especially with the development of their prisms. Aloe is a clever, spiteful bean that is using her powers for vendettas and match making.
Turning the series into a comic could be a solid start for the story, but I'd love to see it develop in any way you see fit. Just the fact that you've fallen back in love with art and breathed fresh life into this world has been such a wonderful and exciting process to watch.
