Seeing others being obsessed over their ocs makes me feel so seen. I have been obsessing over my sun oc (pfp) for a while now and he's becoming one of the only things I draw. I've even made an alternative universe of him so I can draw him more. It's nice knowing I'm not alone in this experience
I like that Apollo's glasses can almost be an allegory for a codependency of a harmful substance. He is constantly chasing this high - the AI getting his wife just right - that he doesn't care about how badly it's destroying him mentally when it doesn't work, when it doesn't give him the high he so desperately needs. Just kinda interesting
Maybe you could make an au where Cynthia didn't _die_ die but instead faked her death to hide her identity and keep her family safe, and then eventually she comes back and they're all together again and happy 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Like he would be sitting down and she would come up behind him and wrap her arms around his shoulders and rest her head against the top of his and because her hair was so long it would fall down and frame his face too, so he dyed it when she passed as a way to still see her hair fall around his face when she would hug him

Everything can be funneled into gut wrenching angst!
I can't stop rewatching this video. I don't know what it is, but every time I rewatch it, I see some neat little detail I miss, some cool edit I like, a new method I wanna incorporate into my art, just something new every time. I usually get tired of the repetitiveness, but with these sketchbook art progress videos, I just find myself captivated and in love with June's art, it really makes me wanna get out fine liners and just play around in the paper. You seem like you’re truly enjoying everything you’re making and it just makes me want to draw and write and create so much more. I’ve been struggling with motivation and an art block for honestly over a year at this point, and while I’m still struggling to find the energy to create the things I want to, I’m finally feeling motivation, and WANTING to create things, and a majority of this is because of your content. As soon as you mentioned PRISM after saying how mentally unwell this man is... my thoughts went to *VILLAIN* No pressure tho, its just the way you talked about him, the pining after his wife, angsting over this cardboard copy of her and making sure nobody ever finds out about it *especially his daughter* . the final moment of his villain defeat where he breaks down and admits he was wrong, that he needs help and he has to get that help for himself and *the sake of his daughter* , frothing at the mouth just thinking about it I love compelling narrative arcs so bad!

These two are giving such huge epithet erased energy for me and I'm not sure why. Maybe from the way the grief was written into his character from the start and also Appolo's specific quirkball energy. He just has the ambient energy of a rlly well written epithet erased character. Good shit!

I was so fixated and obsessed with one of my OCs that I created WHOLE NEW OCS from SCRATCH J U S T to have someone interact with him. I ended up creating an entire world with its own multiple documents of lore and random fun facts about the characters that I plan to make a comic with as well as a bunch of alternate universes that center around him. Just for ONE oc. (I love my ocs, i could literally be an entire fandom by myself 😭) Also, the thing about getting better at drawing from being obsessed with a character is so true. I’m really glad I found this video.

Nah I agree! A big part of the reason the pikachu video isn’t finished is because we put hundreds of not thousands of hours into it just for me to realize it was just miserable to watch. Really really proud of myself for getting to where I am now!

I can't stop rewatching this video. I don't know what it is, but every time I rewatch it, I see some neat little detail I miss, some cool edit I like, a new method I wanna incorporate into my art, just something new every time. I usually get tired of the repetitiveness, but with these sketchbook art progress videos, I just find myself captivated and in love with June's art, it really makes me wanna get out fine liners and just play around in the paper.

I was so fixated and obsessed with one of my OCs that I created WHOLE NEW OCS from SCRATCH J U S T to have someone interact with him. I ended up creating an entire world with its own multiple documents of lore and random fun facts about the characters that I plan to make a comic with as well as a bunch of alternate universes that center around him. Just for ONE oc. (I love my ocs, i could literally be an entire fandom by myself 😭)
Also, the thing about getting better at drawing from being obsessed with a character is so true. I’m really glad I found this video.

Nah I agree! A big part of the reason the pikachu video isn’t finished is because we put hundreds of not thousands of hours into it just for me to realize it was just miserable to watch. Really really proud of myself for getting to where I am now!
