The Rebar is probably the best Leatherman option for a good 90+% of us who use multi-tools. Yes, you might lose out on bragging rights by not having a higher end model, but do you really NEED the options that some of those higher end models offer? The remaining ~10% of users probably do need and use the extra options from some of the pricier models. But I'd say that if most people were honest and realistic with themselves, they'd buy a Rebar instead of a Surge, or Supertool 300, or maybe even a Wingman. But then again, I don't care for the combo knife on the Wingman, and I don't need the scissors.

I carry the wave every day all day on my hip even if I go to a red lobster on a Saturday night lol
