After going through my work injury which led me to a curvature on my spine a few years back, I realize the mind body connection is the most important thing you need to get down before any workout.
I agree with this, but their are minor exceptions; very minor. The perfect form is based off a mind body connection. It depends on what specific muscle you're targeting and how you plan to do it. Sometimes that requires being in a "weird" position so long as you don't over do the movement and learn how to listen to your body and balance your body. Only you will know what muscle you're actually targeting based off how it feels for you. Biggest problem in any type of workout is most people lack a mind body connection.
    Thanks for the videos

That wide push up bit genuinely surprised me - I was one of the ones that thought the wider you go the more you work the chest. Will try to incorporate more narrow grip push ups. Thanks!

hey man, can you make a arms/chest workout program for like... people below beginners category. most "beginner's" tutorials on youtube are like. "do 100 push ups as warm-up" while people can't do 10

and why don't I feel my chest muscles while push ups?

You Gotta Do Them With Proper Form As He Showed In Dis Video. When You Get This Form Down, If You Want To Feel Chest Muscles, You Have To Go Deep Down. You Also Want To Contract (Squeeze) Your Glutes and Core And Use Muscle-Mind Connection For The Chest.

@@Batakh.yourself Just pick a push-up progression from the vid for which you can do like 6-12 reps. Then do 3 sets of that with 1-2 min rest in between. Don't forget to also do some pulling (e.g. body rows)! Also, I really recommend the paid programmes of calimove, they are awesome! :D
Push-ups (like most calisthenics exercises) are a compound movement that target a lot of muscles simultaneously. Don't worry too much if you don't 'feel' it, as long as you challenge yourself you will get stronger! If you really want to focus more on the chest, you could work towards push-ups on rings with rings turned-out on top. Or you could do chest dips (dips with a bit of a forward lean and wider grip), ideally also on rings and with rings turned-out on top.
