Hey Seb what engine is better the 3.0t or the 3.7? I know the 3.0t is cheaper to mod but which one has more performance potential? What top speed can be reached with both roughly?
They both have great potential to make power, the VR30 has its own special issues that are concerning besides the direct injection down sides. The 3.7 worst weakness in stock form are the connecting rods and after that the head lift (even on built motors). There is a large variability in block strength\thickness from the factory along with the heads since its a hugely mass produced engine. They both can make 600+ whp in stock form with the correct parts.
@@specialtyz I've heard of a few people replacing the heads from the vq37vhr with the heads from the hr motor. Outside of Infiniti what platform has good potential that you would personally buy yourself?
Hey i am installing a similar kit on my buddies 2019 Q50, and the kit didn't come with the Non-Redsport block off plate for the turbos. Do you know where i could find one or something similar?
How long will the stock turbos last if I babied my red sport all its life? Downed the car 4 times but not full throttle all its life. Sitting at 30 k miles and wife driven. My concern is its total life span as I intend to keep the car for life.
Heat kills the turbo. When you do push it hard let it idle for 2-3 minutes if it’s been 7 minutes since you pushed it to when you are about to turn off the car. Make a pcv system with a catch can, and breather. The use of 4 check valves will ensure boost doesn’t enter the catchcan, and that the vacuum will hold at idle. When under pressure the boost closes the check valve to intake manifold then the blow by is rerouted to atmosphere. Also let engine warm up before you do more than half throttle and 2500rpm. Turn on car let it idle for 1 minute then drive soft. It will warm up much quicker then if left idling, just drive smooth.

Hpfp, lpfp, ams stage 2 inj , flex fuel kit with filter. N all the basics too.

@@ebilevich for now spool 150 hpfp, ams / z1 lpfp . Will get ams basket / lpfp at some point and bigger hpfp. Had this to max stock turbos.

You should be bale to get them from Z1 or Pure Turbo.
