This is the best tiny apartment I've seen recently. You made a full working kitchen, and the solutions are great . Cooking is very important to me, and i always imagine how it would be in those studios... It's awesome

I loved it, I think you really maximised the space. I often watch home tours and then like to wonder about how I would make better use of the space. But your tiny apartment is completely optimised. And it looks good too 🙂

Love your murphy bed, your shelving and all of your storage solutions. The mirrors are a great idea to reflect the light and make the place look bigger. Love the wind chimes also. I agree with you on not wanting to share a bathroom. Love your bathroom. The over the toilet shelf holds a lot of storage and how nice to have a tub as well. You have great taste.
Great set up, love how all your storage matched in color palette and you had neutrals of several colors for them it made it very pleasing to the eye and very restful at the same time.

Kudos on the Murphy Bed. 4 the life of me. I don't understand why people opt 4a GINORMOUS BED in a tiny studio. A Murphy is always set up, and you just lower it or raise it. By the way. I just recently bought those very same stackable white stools for the same reason. 😊

Good for you for not sacrificing a bathroom. I see so many NYC "apt" tours where their living space is basically a rented room without one and they use a shared one in the hallway. Ugh. And at a certain age using a twin bed just says you plan on always sleeping alone. Good for you on utilizing your space so well.

This is a real living setup and not a staged one like some videos. I would opt for a twin bed instead of a Murphy bed to avoid needing to get it ready at night and putting it away each morning, but to each his own! You've made use of all the storage possibilities so you don't need to be a minimalist to live here.

It's adorable and so are you. Listen, I live in a 1000 sq ft home that most people consider "tiny," and it's a challenge sometimes. I like watching videos of tiny apartments, vans, busses, etc, because I think if many of those same efficient designs were used, I could enjoy my space more. And honestly, people don't need a McMansion-- more affordable housing could be available if we all downsized a bit.
I would never give this place up. it's totally cute, plus you have a bay window which is just a big plus, as is having a kitchen and your own bathroom. Who cares if it's tiny. You live alone in SF. (San Franciscan here now livinging abroad. In which part of the city is your place ... would love to know for when I move back!!). Best, A.
Actually very impressed. I've lived in studio apartments 3 times that size and you use your space better than I did. And your rent though high per square foot is reasonable.

I lived in 12m room (studio) for 3 years, I guess, with 3 different roommates. There are a lots of studious like that in Saint-Petersburg, not all of them have window, shower, there are always mini bar instead of fridge and it is rare to have kitchen stove

it's not a big deal sleeping in your living room but it's a real drag living in the sleeping room - it does make quite a difference.
