- Following the failure of the clutch hose on my 1987 Suzuki VS700 Intruder I replace it with a new flexible hose and whilst I am at it replace the air filters.

Good old Chas! Great to have a friend you can rely on 😊 why 2 air filters? One for each cylinder? I don’t miss having to fix something to get to work the next day (11 Land Rovers) good job done.
Yep, separate carb for each cylinder with a separate filter, although the cylinders are the same the carbs and filters are different sizes to account for the back cylinder running hotter than the front (air & water cooled and the front gets more air).
Tickover seems a bit slow. George

@@ttxela just for my interest. What is the Tickoover rpm. Just found it on forum 1000rpm. Yours sounds around 300rpm George

It's not been ridden any distance for years judging by the MOT record, just ironing out the aging issues 🙂👍
