Replacing The Clutch Hose & Air Filters On My 1987 Suzuki Intruder VS700

Following the failure of the clutch hose on my 1987 Suzuki VS700 Intruder I replace it with a new flexible hose and whilst I am at it replace the air filters.

Good old Chas! Great to have a friend you can rely on 😊 why 2 air filters? One for each cylinder? I don’t miss having to fix something to get to work the next day (11 Land Rovers) good job done.

Yep, separate carb for each cylinder with a separate filter, although the cylinders are the same the carbs and filters are different sizes to account for the back cylinder running hotter than the front (air & water cooled and the front gets more air).

It's not been ridden any distance for years judging by the MOT record, just ironing out the aging issues 🙂👍
