I had my opinions about Russell yrs ago, but recently I've watched his new stuff and pushing making up your own mind about the political/media shit the world is going thru, to actually being impressed with his articulated smart and charming ways. But now with this new shit coming down on him I wanted to make a smart and educated opinion, well just at least know what I was talking about if his name came up in conversation with someone in the near future! Yeah he probably did do what he is being accused of, which is too bad, cuz he is a good entertainer and I do respect his opinions on how things are in America today. So I feel sorry for him. BUT, he's done some pretty messed things in the past and needs to take accountability for those mistakes then move on learning from those mistakes! He would get much more respect from those he has wronged in the past! Cone on Russel, admit you did some shitty things, got caught, realized got help, living a better life since then clean and sober! Don't be a cunt, own what you did, apologize then move on! Do the decent thing, peoples memories suck you'll be back in the saddle again in no time! Just my opinion, that's all!

Pretty uncalled for by Bob Geldof. I decided to search for this video after reading about this in Booky Wook 2 in which Russel said that he was always a massive fan of Bob since growing up so it's no wonder that you could tell it hurt him.

Russel is a bit of twat, but he's infinitely more likeable than Geldof. Not that that is much of a compliment given that Geldof is the antithesis of likeable. I think Russel, from what I've seen, is pretentious but his heart is in the right place. He's also willing to talk to people who hold wildly different views to his own. His interview with Jordan Peterson for example was quite well done.
