Bob Marley is 1 of my heroes. I first discovered him thru quotes, which established his character to me. His values were tremendous in my eyes. He was revolutionary in his work, against negativity like war and greed. As such, he had hard times like fighters for justice have. Because there are very powerful people who have every intention of preserving injustice. Since to them it’s a path to power and riches. I’ve never been high, and wouldn’t want to do anything that could make me miss a lyric or any part of a song.

Uncle bob the father of Reggae a activist against the system, a voice for the people, in New Zealand we call him Uncle Bob, listen to what he sings about they took him out cause he spoke to truthfully, a man that didnt need anything but to teach the people how to treat each other. He preached love, and togetherness. You need to peep his Redemption Song, Get Up Stand Up, COming In From The Cold, Turn Your Lights Down Low (the version with LAURYN HILL), Could You Be Loved, Jammin, No Woman No Cry, and many others, loce this reaction out of all the reactions you have done thus far, thank you from a New Zealander who resides in Australia.

This I my favorite reaction you done. I watch it a lot. I love to see people get introduced to Bob Marley‘a music. I watched today and it made me think back when I was just casually playing music and his song Buffalo Soldier came on. I’ve heard the song thousands of times but that day I really listened. And before I knew it my brother walked in the room and asked why I was crying. And I hadn’t cried in almost 20 years at that time. Bob is one of the greatest. I put him and Tupac in the same vain.

I've had enough being high for the both us. My advice carry-on the path your on. I enjoy Reggae music just as much straight. Especially Bob Marley's Reggae songs. A beautiful reaction. Bob Marley was born Robert Nesta Marley... he popularized Jamaican reggae music worldwide in the 70's. Reggae wasn't the only music people used the ganja to... Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd were 2 rock bands that appealed to stoners on weed or acid 😁
Born to a Jamaican mother and white father from Britain, Bob Marley was shy, soft-spoken & often singled out for being half-white in Jamaica... When he was an aspiring musician, he was too shy to approach his wife Rita when they met because she was an established singer... They married in 1966 and had kids together, and Rita was a backing singer in his band and his personal manager... even though he was seeing other women and had children w/ them. Bob Marley embraced the Rastafarian faith w/ his wife Rita...
Bob Marley started playing music as a teen and started a singing group w/ Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer... He started recording songs in 1962 and his group eventually took the band name The Wailers in 1963... recording songs for Jamaican labels... In 1969, popular Jamaican music developed a new sound - reggae, and The Wailers added more musicians to the band and Bob Marley formed his own record label Tuff Gong in 1970 w/ The Wailers.
In 1972, he signed w/ CBS Record in London to tour the UK and released The Wailers' 5th album 'Catch a fire' in 1973... followed by "Burnin' " that same year. In 1974, The Wailers were touring the US when they were fired as an opening act for upstaging the headliners... Financial disputes led to The Wailers breaking up that year as Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer left.
Bob Marley carried on in 1975 as Bob Marley & The Wailers and continued to grow in popularity... In late 1976, Bob Marley and his family were attacked in Jamaica by gunmen and they survived a hail of bullets... Bob Marley was to play a free concert to bring Jamaica's 2 main political parties together and ease tensions in the country; the gunmen tried to end his life for that gesture... Still, Bob Marley appeared at the concert, 2 days after he had been shot, and performed... defiantly showing off his bullet wounds to the crowd. But he left Jamaica as a result and moved to England.
Bob Marley & The Wailers released 7 studio albums and 4 live records... They toured Africa and he strongly opposed Apartheid rule in South Africa... He played his biggest stadium shows in Europe in 1980.
However, an injury to his foot in 1977 from playing football ⚽had tragic consequences... a malignant melanoma diagnosis was improperly treated and while touring in the US for his 1980 album 'Uprising'... Bob Marley collapsed in NYC and discovered that cancer had spread to his body... He performed his final show in Pittsburgh, knowing it would be his last and played extended encores that night.
Despite getting cancer treatments, his health deteriorated. Bob Marley died in May 1981 at age 36... He was given a state funeral in Jamaica.
In 1984, a 'best of' compilation release 'Legend' by Bob Marley & The Wailers was released and has sold 12 million copies in the US, 25 million worldwide... His widow Rita Marley is the caretaker of Bob Marley's estate.
Former Wailer Peter Tosh began his solo career in the 70's and found success as a reggae artist... However, a brain injury caused by a car accident in 1973 created some issues for him and made him somewhat erratic... While on a break from touring and releasing his last album 'No nuclear war' in 1987, Peter Tosh was murdered by gang at his home (one of whom he was trying to help) attempting to rob him.
    Peter Tosh was 42.

I am a Canadian who grew up listening to a whole lot of Bob Marley music and I automatically became touched by all of his songs. Just like Tupac music, Bob Marley's songs heavily apply to this very world that we live in now. He is a Jamaican Icon!! He has 12 kids and so many grandkids too. Most of them do music too and all of his male children look exactly like him and they even sound like him too especially his grandson Skip Marley. Bob's children are Ziggy Marley, Sharon Marley, Cedella Marley, Stephanie Marley, Makeda Marley, Karen Marley, Rohan Marley, Stephen Marley, Ky-Mani Marley, Julian Marley, Robbie Marley, and Damian Marley.

Probably Bob's most popular song but my favourite is "So much trouble in the world". I'll stop there otherwise the list will be neverending...Bob was a modern day philosopher and a beacon for peace and love in the world. All music is better when high...and the best music when stoned is Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd...Bob's music is about the vibe and the message.

Bob Marley is probably the greatest song writer ever live. Died at age 35. His music still selling like crazy today. Thanks to Gen Z. He wrote a song for his back up singers called three little bird. You would love it.

I think Time by Pink Floyd would be a great song to listen to on edibles. Pink Floyd music is beautiful and is meant to not just be listened to but to be experienced.

Bob Marley’s music is for profound thinkers not for getting high. Hes a freedom fighter and a philosopher! He’s the GOAT! React to “War” Redemption Songs etc..

6:21 to 6:47 I feel that in my SOUL lol, every good song to me has what I call a break down and that’s done with lyrics or instruments and that’s the break down in this song! I hope you learn more about bob, like you I don’t like much reggae but bob was just so good, the first song I heard was “Stir it up” and it did something to me so i wanted to hear more from bob…bob reminds me of 2pac in the sense of he wasn’t around long and made a ton of music in a short amount of time. Did you know that his country was fighting and fighting over control of the country and he bought both leaders of opposition parties on stage together at the end of one of his concerts! Bob was bigger than weed and getting high he was a humanitarian, the FBI/CIA was keeping tabs on him because his music was so powerful, you should watch the docu-drama on prime video about him! Oh and please check out stir it up and if you like it do a reaction video to it!!!

Delroy Wilson does a great cover of Marley's song The Sun is shining. You should check it out. The aggrovators are Delroy's backing band for the track. And they also add a niyabinghi drum pattern in that hits hard.
