Redemption song; One love; Stir it up; No Women No Cry; Get Up Stand Up; Trench Town Rock; Exodus; Three Little Birds; you can start with any of those! Hoooza.
^^^^ Yup...every single one of those songs! ^^^^
Yes please! ❤🤩🤙
Yes sir!!
SOOOO many to choose from!
All the above mentioned songs plus my favorite: “Could You Be Loved”. … such a great beat!! I am so enjoying reliving the music of my youth through your gloriously energetic self!! Cheers!!
Every single song by this man is a fuckin masterpiece .. LEGEND
One of the ones i love the most is "Natural Mystic"
A true classic 👍
This has been a hard year of fighting cancer for me. In the middle of a breakdown someone told me to listen to Bob Marley Three Little Birds. Let me tell you it saved my sanity many times. When I was feeling overwhelmed I'd put that song on repeat until it's words and message soothed my soul. I'm so grateful I had it to get me through. Music is truly important and healing.
I’m so sorry you are having to go though this. I wish you all the good luck in the world….. and all skill to your doctors.
GREAT song!!
Stay strong 💪
keep praying and keep listing to bob marley
Praying for you Sis..🙏🏿
Such a beautiful reaction. How can you resist it?
Edit:
Wow! First time I’ve seen an encore! 🙌🏽 To God belongs all the glory.
"Stir It Up", "Buffalo Soldier", "Get Up, Stand Up", and "No Woman No Cry" from him and the Wailers always make my music lists. We sing his songs often in the household. When my preteen is having a hard time we sing "Three Little Birds". You made my day!! I hope you have a great week. -Amber
gonna have to add exodus, and the entire survival album, there isn;t a bad song on it
@@MrXNITROx I agree!! I was so excited to see his video that I went with the ones off the top of my head. Knowing this channel, it’s gonna be a long, great journey. I hope you’re having a great week. -Amber
Wow!!!! I am not alone..
Blackman Redemption. Africa Unite. Heathen. Real Situation. Zimbabwe. Stiff Necked Fools. Give Thanks & Praises. Jah Live. Wake Up & Live. Guiltiness. Zion Train. Rat Race. We & Dem. Jump Nyabinghi. Work. Running Away. Pimper's Paradise. Crisis. She's Gone. Chant Down Babylon. Don't forget those songs.
Mate, your expression when Bob starts singing might be one of the best things I've seen 😊
You will never find a bad song by Bob Marley.
I'm so addicted to your reactions... thank you.
Well hello there Jah...!!! And other such stuff... How about these for a few... NOW, be aware, I am giving you these even before I have lookined on the channel before I have gone checking for more of the Bob... You know by now that us old gits had this sort of music every single week.... live.... on the BBC2 show.. The Old Grey Whistle Test. With the legend that was Whispering Bob Harris. Maybe give these a go... "Redemption Song," "One love," "Stir it up," "No Women No Cry," and of course "Get Up Stand Up". Keep on Rocking...!!
Had to listen and watch again... You know what we love about you Mark, is not only that you GET IT, and understand the music, but also your pure, unfiltered JOY!
Us older folks get to relive our 1st listen to this music vicariously thru you
PEACE!
indeed! Mark is not like other reactors who don't know how to express their feelings. I like when he stops the music because he has something to say. Culture and music is done for that: feel, think, talk. And for old lads like us, to remember...
You're a textbook case of how music can bring such primal joy and happiness! Yes, this is love!!! 🙂 A few great Bob songs that I think you'd really groove to are: "Waiting in Vain", "Could You Be Love", "No Woman No Cry" and "Satisfy My Soul:. Thanks for always spreading happiness! Happy New Year!
2024 is the big bob marley bio movie. They are finally doing his life story.
More people will see u exploring the vast amount of variety and talent in world of music. I for one didn't appreciate the amount of great music I grew up enjoying. Wow! I look back to the 70's being in highschool and going to concerts with friends not realizing how lucky I was just being able to experience soo many great moments. The later 70's and 80's I now see as a fun, freeing, dancing... almost magical period of time for epic music that will be timeless!! Kinda like your channel is creating!!😁💃💃
This comment makes me smile ear to ear! Thank you Mary and glad you get to live this music all over again with me!!!!!

There are so so many great Bob Marley tracks, iconic tracks to choose from! But may I introduce you to another Reggae icon by the name of Peter Tosh! Try his version of Johnny B Goode I guarantee you will be ROCKED!
Tosh is a genius and i agree his Johnny B Good is great i also love "smoke 2 joints"
Bob Marley,Peter Tosh & Bunny Wailer " Stir it Up ( live) at the Old Grey Whistler Test 1973
@@lepetitoiseau YES indeed!
Bob Marley is soo good, Get Up Stand Up, Buffalo Soldier, No Woman No Cry, Redemption Song, Trench Town and the list goes on 💓❤️🔥💥☮️. Love sent from 🇨🇦☮️
Wait…. Only 2 reactions for Bob Marley??? Babe, this is important! We, we, we, we, must continue, for all of our sakes.
We have to go through the entire ‘Legend’ discography. It’s important. I promise it will make your life better! ✋🏽
And ours! 😂😂
Just beautiful. So glad you picked up on the glorious nuances of Bob's voice. The Jamaican accent is beautiful. My grandma and mom were born there and I miss her voice and stories so much. Can't even listen to Bob without tearing up. He strikes that universal chord of humanity, which is love. Spawned a whole genre and made it a worldwide phenomenon. His story is pretty wild. Numerous baby mama's and children, his actual wife said something to the effect of "Bob can handle more women than the regular man." Lmao. He was Political and opposing factions tried to assassinate him. Ended up dying of cancer as a result of a foot injury from playing soccer barefoot in the streets. Gone way too soon, but hell yes dude, didn't plan on crying today 😭 lol well done. Love this channel.
I love Bob Marley!!!! This was a great song to start with! ❤
YES! You FEEL Bob Marley, and yes, this is love.
Ah... memories of a misspent youth.... lol gotta love Bob...
Gotta love some Marley!💜💜💜 Fantastic song! 🔥🔥🔥 He makes you happy! 😊😊😊 Welcome to Reggae Hector 🤗🤗🤗
Oh my God, I didn’t expect this…🤯 ❤ That’s mind blowing love.
Nooobody expects Marley on Squeeze!!!
Oh! And congrats on almost 30K subs! You are crushing it with the "classic rock" reactions! Next stop...THE MOON!
Thank you and yes!!!!!!!!! Moooontime!
Bob has been with me all my life, he will always ground you and bring you back to truth Jah.
Watching your brain melt, just like mine did back in the 80s... Love it!
Oh my god i've never heard this version and it just hits The soul and I feel mellow and i'm high as a m***********😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤
What Joy watching you hear this for the first time! I'm 59 and I was fortunate enough to grow up with some of the best music ever produced. I grew up listening to Bob Marley and can't remember the first time I ever heard him but I know I was very young. I do remember the first time I heard No Woman, No Cry. I was visiting family in England and it was blowing up the radio! A fond memory.
Enjoy your journey and keep rocking 🤘🏼
Love reading your memories on Bmarley! 🙌🙌🙌🙌⏪️🧠
Wooo hoo! A little reggae!!@ such a classic Master...Sing it to your babies , your wife dance around
The room. You will all never forget.❤🎼🎸🎙
Dude! I can't tell how many times I've listened to this as a kid. Since then, Reggae has been my favorite genre of music. And I loved how you've played it: intro, rewind, play once and then play it again just for the pleasure.
I agree with Emmett who suggests "Stir It Up", "Buffalo Soldier", "Get Up, Stand Up", and "No Woman No Cry" from the same Bob Marley. But there are so many great artists in that genre: Peter Tosh, Aswad, Burning Spear, Jimmy Cliff or Black Uhuru, and so many more. And for me, the best song of all time is from Gregory Isaacs: Confirm Reservation (the BBC Radio 1981 version). Gregery Isaacs has also sung the hits Night Nurse, The Border or Stranger in Town.
Greetings & Happy New Year!
That's a GREAT list of Reggae ICONS, and I hope we can watch Mark react to ALL of them in the near future!
Instant goose bumps all over, more Bob, much much much more Bob 🇬🇧🇬🇧🙏🙏
Thank you for reminding me of my great fortune to have been a kid in the seventies. Your enthusiasm is infectious and reminds me it’s fine that I’m close to 60 which otherwise blows my f’ing mind.
You've opened a whole can of worms here. My dad, bless him, introduced us to Bob and reggae at an early age and my love of dub shows no sign of abating . You must do stir it up on the old grey whistle test. They had to prove they could play this live as the man couldn't believe that a group of Jamaican musicians could sound this good. Concrete Jungle,,Redemption Song to name but a few. Explore and as you say better to be a magpie of music. ✌️😔
Bob can sing about revolution, spirituality, and love and all the songs hit deep. Any song on the Uprising album by Bob is mint.
My 18 month old daughter was born as this track was playing, narrowly missed Islands In the Stream, lucky wee girl. Glad to see your casting a wide net brother x
The whole CD is fire!! When i was turned on to him in the 90's I was addicted. I couldn't get enough... and it sounds as great now as it did the first time I heard it. Please do more Bob
Oh i will most deffo will be 😊😊😊😊😊
First got into Bob Marley around 23 years ago (damn that's scary to say). I played it for my mates and they loved it too. The music uplifts your soul. Also, Damian Marley, one of his sons, is an absolute gem too.
Damian Marley on route next week!
Oh yeah man.
Bob Marley’s music can be as hypnotic as it is beautiful.
His piercing voice can speak directly to you.
Drum and bass you say?
Together they drive the Reggae sound.
Be well, Mark Hector.
Bob is one of my all time musical fans for many reasons, one is for the very way you reacted to this song! His lyrical content, his passion, love and commitment to his craft is a gift to all. Even if you don't do it on your channel watch him perform these songs in live concert form and you will REALLY feel his vibrations!
I LOOOOVE Bob Marley and this entire album is in my top 5 of all time. Now I've got to go bust out my CD and put it on surround sound blast while I spring clean and dance like no one is watching LOL. You truly are the BEST reactor there is!
Bob Marley truly exposed reggae to a worldwide audience. Some bands took on reggae and mixed it with rock to create a new sound. For an example of this, Message In A Bottle by The Police.
Also red red wine UB40 is very reggae inspired
Masters writer, greatest stage performer.
Love the reactions always bro! Bob Marley's music is timeless just like the Legend himself Mr Makaveli! Most of the request will be the well-known songs of Bob's but like Makaveli (2pac) there are hidden gems throughout his catalogue of classic music. One of my favourites is 'War' the Lyrics and Message I think will BLOW your mind. PLEASE REACT!!!
There's so many amazing songs by him !!! I absolutely LOVE your vibe and energy !!! Im dancin along with you ! So down for MORE Bob Marley !!! HES SUCH A VIBE !!!
3 little birds!!!! 😀😀so glad someone is doing BoB!!! 🥳
For a Brit you might enjoy exploring the nexus between reggae and English punk of the 70s. It was largely London punks who got them signed to island and broke bob to the world, far as I can tell. Try to find “Punky Reggae Party.” The us was not hot on him until after he visited Britain and took it by storm. Once again our inability to embrace Black musics was our loss and your gain at least for a while. Cheers, this stuff is critical to a full music palette.
You don't have to be a reggae fan to enjoy listening to Bob Marley, i grew up in a family of seven kids and we all had different tastes in music, from Soul & Motown, Glamrock, C&W, Rock 'n' Roll and Pop, i eventually found my peace in Pink Floyd, but i will listen to mostly anything, and Robert Nesta Marley has always been high on my list of unique individuals..Great reaction man, spot on👌✌
Thank you! I really enjoyed this track too!!!!
Ahhhh man wer on a roll tonight😂😂bob marley tunes are jus toooooo addictive i can never listen to just one!😂😂oh hec we love this!!!❤
I think most of us rockers back in the day started with "Jammin'"... you won't be disappointed :)
My fav from Bob Marley is
-concrete jungle
-them belly full
-satisfying my soul
-burnin and lootin
- heathen
-slave driver
- sun is shining
- natural mystic
You should definitely look into his background since he was a activist and done many things for Jamaica and almost lost his life over it. His music carries heavy messages such as equality, youth violence, black empowerment, poverty and Rastafarianism. You should react to his youngest son Damien Marley as well he is a rapper and raps about similar topics his dad sang about.
Such as
- patience
-medication
-nah mean
- welcome to Jamrock
Damian Marley coming next week! Andnive taken your list too!!! ⏪️🧠😊
Brian you scattered my brain you are still the best, try the live concert he did in 19/77 from the rainbow theater in London that is gold from start to finish ! You will love every minute of of it;Judy Moats one of the I 3s ,she says it was a out of body experience!
Damn what a fantastic first pick. This is classic Bob Marley.
I am not a fan of reggae BUT i really do appreciate great music and this is it👍
Hector, long before rap cane on the scene, there was something called “talking blues”. I think you would be very interested in this. Bob Dylan had a song called Subterranean Homesick Blues, and it’s in talking blues form. He spit some BARS, man! Great flow.
Man... I just love Bob Dylan... I wanted to suggest some songs from him but I was hesitant to point down this road! If Mark goes here on this journey I think I would be brought to tears.... It's just awesome to watch someone discover this... I have never seen this before and now I'm hooked on these reactions and Brain Squeeze Reactions is my #1.
@@havacigar5465 yeah….don’t know if I’d want to be in his head, ( YIKES) but MAN his emotions are just electric!
@@helenespaulding7562 Electric indeed! Thing is... I can relate to him somewhat ... I don't do drugs and I love to really get into the music like him. I can remember how Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd just rocked my world. 🤩
@@havacigar5465 indeed. PF especially for me in early 70’s. Zeppelin…average fan…had 3 of their albums. Three years ago rediscovered them and we talk NUTS. DEEP dive down the rabbit hole. Total fan girl Books, interviews, concert footage. Now my favorite band…in my 70’s 🙄😏🤘
@@havacigar5465 if you are not a sub on SyedRewinds…check out his breakdown on this same Dylan song from just a day or so ago. And then tell me what you think. His reaction is why I suggested it to Hector. They are both hip-hop heads
The magic of reggae and bob in particular imo is that social commentary and political rebellion is central to understanding them-but the groove is pure soul food. It’s so heartwarming almost literally. Try Three Little Birds for an uplifting banger OAT. And when it’s an actual love song like this? Oh my god.
HELL YESSS PLEASE DO MORE REGGAE!! His early stuff is soo good ,, Also some 70s dub reggae ;)
Bob is crucial. Peter Tosh, Buju Banton, Barrington Levy, and many more classic Ragae / Dance Hall. More modern artists like Slightly Stoopid, Soja, Rebelution, Iration.Etc. Welcome to the chill side.
Brah Bob is a movement😂😂😂 ❤❤❤❤❤❤ go through his albums start from the beginning with Peter and Bunny ❤❤❤❤❤
Oh yes!! I love Bob Marley so much!! Once again your reaction has made me jam and crack up with you! ✌️❣️
🧠⏪️ Skills from my chair lol 🙌🙌🙌🙌🧠⏪️
@@brainsqueezereactions I bet you have skills from that chair! ❣️✌️🤣
Edit: Bob has so, so many great songs, but do "Jammin". That one is so fun! You'd love it!
Please react to buffalo soldier, I shot the sheriff and Johnny was by bob Marley. Those are some of the greatest storytelling songs you'll ever hear in music history.
Hector it's like you read my mind when you come up with the songs!! Well done my friend !! You're a damn legend !!!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️🔥💯💯👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
NICE NICE man, Im here from the H.O.G. for Tom but gotta love this man, dude got me boping my head like a mofo.
Fussing and Fighting. Chances Are. Memphis.
Ah man. These three right here are so damn beautiful. I'm getting distracted by my friend and there's definitely much more I can't get off my tongue but these three are among his best and just had to put them out there for you in the hopes you may find them.
Peaceful and loving they are. Just down right trim the fat straight to the bone poignant
Oh my. Bless your heart man. You help me not to forget. I've been feeling like there's nothing new in this day to day. A general feeling that everything is dead. And your magnificent energy is so full of life. I want to thank you for helping me find a modicum of this joy I seem to have incrementally been losing. Peace and love to you. A marvelous soul you are. And don't you ever forget it.
Richard this whole comment has equally made my day too! Thank you and added yours to my ever growing list and cannot wait to dig more into Bob Marley and keep your happiness going 🙌🙌🙌🙌⏪️🥳

My wife and I got to know each other in an authors chat room around 2000. She told me to listen to this song for why she wanted to date ) I had heard a little of Marley in early 80's when I worked at the college book store from some folks I worked with. This song brought back the feeling of how good his voice and music style were. Always worth hearing )
I loved Bob Marley! I had a big tripped out Bob Marley flag in my bedroom growing up! 😂😂😂 I’ve downloaded so many great songs from my youth bc of your channel! Thanks for all the memories Hector!
Ha! Love it and the fact you downloaded classics is even betttter!
Here for the Marley!!! Didn't know how much I needed this 😁.
Haven't listened to him in almost 20 years, so it's almost like the first time
More Bob Marley reactions, please. Do "Stir it up." It's awesome.
Csaya dari Indonesia, senang sekali dengar lagu Bob Marley
Dan sang pembawa acara,,
😊😊
Hector, I just love your reactions and the wide variety of musicians you are choosing. This song brings back going to a reggae bar in Chicago back in the early 80's where just walking in could get you stoned from the smoke in the air. AAHH, the good old days...
More bob brother! Love the reaction
Youre absolutley right I need to do more Bob soon !
OH YES! REDEMPTION song, Three Little Birds...MORE plz! 😏🥴🤷♀️✌️❤️🔥🔥🔥🎶🎶🎶🎶🤗 I can't stop SMILING!😁 Thank you! 🥰
Loved Bob marley, along with so many others.i adore music. Love ur reaction. Keep going mark. Love youngsters like u appreciate classic music..
As a kid I always thought the lyric was "We'll be together, with a roof rack over our heads". My natural reaction was to imagine they must be in a Volvo 😂
Crying 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 love this comment !!!
"Legend" and "Rebel Music" are both superb Marley compilations, I'd love to see you react to both!
Could you be loved. Listen. That is all.
Love that Jamaican accent, mahn! Reggae was really big froM late 60’s through the 80’s as I recall. Hippies loved it, and his Rastafarian religion, which used Ganga as a sacrament, and preached peace and love, certainly resonated with the counter culture. Even Zeppelin did a reggae inspired song! D’Yer Maker. 😁
What was so sad was, if I have it right, he got a melanoma on his toe, but refused medical treatment because he believed in faith healing. It didn’t work and we lost him too soon.
My favorite reggae song for some reason is 96 Degrees in the Shade
What a reaction! Top 10
Him and Pac are my favourite artists of all time, heavenly
Ahh...Bob Marley mon! I have to give a few recommendations on this one, Get Up Stand Up, Redemption Song, I Shot the Sheriff, Burnin and Lootin and Kaya. Looking forward to the next reaction to this absolute legend!
Flash backs of Ricks Caffe watching the cliff divers right from the bar with Peter Tosh and Bob Marley playing in the background,,,, if you ever get to Jamaica you need to stop at Ricks Caffe it will change your life
Bob always makes me feel good
2023 and you really have no fear. Where oh where are you taking us next?
When you mentioned the Gruffalo, my mind immediately went to Wes Tank rapping Dr Seuss stories to 90s rap music such as Eminem and Dr Dre. If you’ve not heard them already, please check them out (if not on the channel, just for yourself), I’m sure you’ll love them. I recommend Fox In Socks in particular ❤
It is love ❤️🤟🏼
Damien Marley has a song welcome to jam rock, the whole family is talented. You have to research how Bob Marley felt about the guy that shot him, it will blow your mind
Me 12,13,14,15 you couldnt go through london wothout marley or UB40 playing somewhere. If not there was some other reggae track being played. Oh what a time to be alive.
Interesting that you chose this tune from Kaya (1978)...There's a huge amount of Bob related tunes. Starting with the early/mid 60's Ska tracks (Simmer Down etc), then the later 60's "Wail N Soul M" Rock Steady tracks (I'm Hurting Inside etc).. And then the early 70's stuff for Lee Perry, Lesley Kong and self productions... (Soul Rebel, Trenchtown Rock, Small Axe, Soul Shakedown Party etc etc) through to the Island Years from Catch A Fire onwards... I hope you enjoy the ride, from a 64 year old Jamaican music fanatic who's enjoying watching it so far... :)
Great song from Bob Marley, great singer he ever was/is. Feels like you can listen to this at the beach 🏖️. thanks for sharing your reaction and it’s a like and thumbs up.😄👍!#bobmarley
Changing topic. This reminded me of another great, fantastic guitar player, Carlos Santana. Going back to 1969 with song: Black Magic Woman.
Came here and heard the intro and literally said 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨TOO FUEGOOO🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I have a lot of jamaican friends and nothing can duplicate the authenticity of the music from jamaica. This is weed smoking music let's face it 😂😂😂😂 To be honest I am high as a m*********** and this music. I've never heard this one before and it was like it went right in to my heart and soul my bones everything. Most of my friends prefer dance hall But it's too vulgar too much and this is so much more beautiful. Keep being you❤❤❤
Love love love stir it up. Pumped for watching you react to a ton of music this year bruv!
Cant wait tooo!!!!! ⏪️🧠
Dope!
Add "One Drop" to the list
Perfect "on a vacation cruise to the Bahamas with a tropical drink song".
Glad you found Bob. I'll give you some great ones with brilliant philosophical lyrics..." Who the cap fits", "So much trouble in the world", "War", " Rat Race", "One Drop", "Misty Morning", "Talkin Blues". Not well known Bob songs but if u really like his stuff, the songs i've listed r brilliant. I would've given you more but i just got home from the pub.
You dont need to be a smoker to love bob! All one need is love.
You’re right: joy.
And love. And generosity.
Nietzsche said “Without love, there is no art.”
Too many spectacular songs to list. One I don’t see suggested: Zimbabwe -a celebration, a welcoming, when the white supremacist Rhodesia became black-ruled Zimbabwe ❤

Your diversity continues to amaze me. To me that's the name of the game. Keep chugging along.
Bob Marley is great, great reaction and me with no weed 😎🦉🥹
Mr. Brown is one of my favorite tracks.
Love it...Bob Marley is so good! You are gonna want to hear "Three Little Birds" and "Redemption Song" for sure!! Dude...gotta say I just love your reactions... I think it's cuz you remind of us all of the times when we heard these great tunes in our youth! I find it awesome that you sometimes will pick things out of a song which I distinctly remember recognizing myself during my discovery of the artist. It is really nice to see. If you want to add to your list try The Who! I recommend "Eminence Front"... I know you will love the intro and the overall groove of the song! Either way...no big deal and we'll see you on the next one...Cheers from CANADA!!
Haha love the way you always show us the goose bumps but we can never see them 🙂
