Hi! As a mature student, how did you go about funding your tuition fees/accommodation/maintenance costs? I'm going to be applying as a mature student after my undergrad degree and my biggest worry is the cost, as there's no student finance for second undergrad degrees. Thanks a lot for making the video!
Hi Hanish, glad you enjoyed the video! I know self funding a degree can be extremely difficult, and honestly I haven’t got it figured out myself yet! I take it year by year, the maintenance loan supplied by the government (you still get one of those even if you are post-grad in the UK!) covers some, the rest is savings and help from my family along the way. You can certainly get a job, and i did this through my first degree however it can be challenging. Depending on where you are applying, some places (i.e companies) will offer scholarships to students, but i haven’t gone through that process myself yet!
