  • Construction of this mini house continues with the framing of the exterior and interior house walls of "The Gunnison," a 1-story traditional house designed by ‪@AdvancedHousePlans‬
    Floor Plan:

    Before any walls get stood up there is some prep work that must be done. All headers must be cut and assembled, jack studs cut and attached to the window and door king studs. I also made 2 sets of mini saw horses! This all adds to the realistic aspect of this model house being built.

    I plan on watching all your videos from start to finish. This has been the most realistic and coolest build I've seen so far especially since most of what I find on TH-cam excludes wood framing. As a recent undergraduate in construction, I'd love to learn how to build model houses like this as a hobby. I can't wait to see the completion!

      Hell yeah man! Thank you! I'm trying to make it as real as possible. And this is going to be the easiest house I do...they are going to become bigger and more complex! Life has me taking a break right now though with everything I have going on. In the words of Jocko Willink... "GOOD" I can focus on other things. Stay tuned 💪

    That was so cool to watch. People should be aware of how a home is built and where the hidden expenses are. I think the wall sheeting is going to be hard when you fit your hands in the small areas.

      Thank you! Good point on the hidden costs.
      The wall sheathing will be interesting for sure. Making everything straight, cutting windows and doors out...yup! Alot harder to do on this scale.

    Very nice..!! I forgot to ask last time.. Are you building to scale.?? I assume so. Judging by size, I’m guessing 1:12..?? Also, are you cutting/preparing all of your materials yourself.? Or buying precut.? Seems like I remember your saying something about making the the Advantech sub-floor.
    Thanks..!

      Yes I am building to scale! 3/4" = 1'. Honestly, I dont know what ratio that is lol.
      Yes, everything is handmade by me up to this point and will continue to be. In the future I would like someone else to make everything because it takes alot of time and I'd rather build. That will come in time!

      Good to know.! So, that would be 1:16 scale. Thanks for the response. Subbed…I’ll be watching for your content..

    So cool. I’ve always wanted to do this. Where did you get the lumber? Can you buy it at hobby shops or did you have to cut it and create it all?

    Hello sir please tell me the shuttering material

    • @TimberReimagined
      @TimberReimagined  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had a bunch of extra 7/16 OSB laying around. I figured there would be less material to make. I plan on trying out other methods in the future. Someday I'll have realistic aluminum ones!
