Building A Model Ranch House |06| Framing the Floor!

Now that the sill plates are down, the floor beam in, and the floor framing laid out, this model house build continues with framing the floor!
I am building the "Gunnison" from @AdvancedHousePlans

@TimberReimagined I think you are a builder in your regular job. Who would go to all this work on the foundation with the weather stripping, vapor barrier protection, and actual dirt? I imagine 40 hours of work goes into these videos. I appreciate your devotion and hope you are enjoying the process.

@@wendy833 I used to build houses! I have been an estimator for the last 5 years. This hobby is PURE passion. Me creating, learning about TH-cam, making and editing videos...its all of it, its what I am after. My goal with the channel is to get as close as I can to the actual process of building home...and telling a compelling story. (that last part is in the works)

Where do you get the building supplies? They look very realistic down to the treated plates. Well done!

I have hand made everything up to this point. Yes sir, that's treated wood! All the framing lumber was ripped out of 1x pine. And the sheathing is Advantech sheathing. I was able to rip 3 sheets out of a chuck of it! Took a while to do so as well haha.
