Love the factory footage, including the boardroom. Getting to meet Mr. Mizuno and sitting next to Tony Covey...You have arrived Alex. Oh yeah the irons are sweet!!

You have a very brave friend !! Lol. Luv the videos. I just got a set of jpx 919, still getting use to them. I had a pretty severe injury about a year ago. Just getting back to playing, and I lost a lot of distance because of the way I have to swing now. These irons are getting a little of my distance back from the way I have to swing now. I really enjoy your videos, keep them coming !!!👍👍👍😁

What's better than reviewing 1 set of mizuno irons?
    Reviewing 3 sets of course👍
Mizuno just make the best irons... Sorry haters but it's a fact.
In a recent pga tour survey more than 30% of tour pro's said if they didn't have a playing contract they would use mizuno and that was almost 20% more votes than the irons (tm) that came 2nd. 👍

Just for those wondering about the loft, with the new forging process they have actually weakened the lofts by a degree but managed to keep the distance of the 900

Just come back from my local club where I tested the 7i - big caveat the demo had a shaft in it which is much heavier than I would normally play, 95g steel shaft, whereas I play with a graphite 65g shaft.
I came away with mixed views.
The irons are more beautiful in real life than in the videos. They do exactly what you would expect for irons of this loft in terms of distance, height and stopping power. Also I found them to deliver an incredibly straight ball flight - admittedly the shaft will have a big effect on this - I usually hit a soft draw with a 7i, but with the 919 Forged this was very difficult to do, but equally I wasn't hitting any fades with them either.
However, I did not fall in love with the feel: a really well struck ball gave such a soft feel it was almost as though you had not hit it at all. A decent shot but not great shot gave a rather hard feel for me. Feel wise I prefer the MP18-MMC
My club also has the 919 tours in stock. I could probably play 7i-PW with them but 5i & 6i look so small I would worry about missing the ball completely!

Love this review. Which did you prefer between the MMC and the 919 Forged? All the MP irons are on sale now so the MMC set would be about $425 US less than the 919 Forged.

Good stuff. Because there will be another series next year and the year after that. I keep looking for an excuse to upgrade from my 2011 Razr X Forged but haven't found one yet. Enjoy.
