Thanks Ed, I tend to keep the battery topped up with an intelligent battery charger although stop / start rarely works for very long and I know a lot of owners have it disabled. I was sure you fitted an AGM one in an earlier video. I need one of those T shirts though 😊🍀💯🇮🇹🏁

Yes I still have the AGM for obvious reasons. backroadhero.myspreadshop.co.uk/create?productType=977&mode=edit&appearance=476&sellable=m4kbvqYpE0HRaeQ101Nq-977-7&idea=6256e0bbd42417007126b70f

Super thanks! This was so helpful. I was shocked by the resetting procedure I actually thought u needed to plugin some ODB thingy to reset the car!😂

That’s the reason I make these. Easy DIY fixes. Thank you. Ed

I'd use a Exide EK 950 battery. It's a 95Ah the weight is the same as the original one.

I’ve an AGM 95Ah waiting for the first sign of trouble. 😁👍

Did you replace the battery on the green one too?

Not yet. As soon as it shows signs I’ve a spare AGM 95Ah to go into it.

For not loosing any "programming" I've heard that you could have used a back up-battery on the poles in the engine compartment.
Of course you must have isolated the positiv conections in the rear while dying the change-job ....
    Thoughts on this ... ?

It’s an added level of complexity that’s not really needed in the end. My car retained all settings. Ed
