I'm currently driving a 2017 QV as my daily in Competizione Red, i would have done exactly the same as you and sacrificed a little bit of drama to get into one in green it's absolutely stunning. It will be the one to buy in years to come.

I bought a 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti for $24,000 with 17,000 miles on it. It's an excellent vehicle. I've driven BMWs extensively over the years, and I must say the Giulia surpasses them in looks, drive quality, and technology. The cruise assist is especially something I can't live without now. Also Audio top tear

I just collected an M3 Touring last month with the carbon seats as well. Would be good to swap notes later down the line! 👍.

Cos Audis, Mercs and Beamers are cheap to run and wont ruin you, and with the Alfa you dont get German Car Driver Syndrome where you turn into an absolute c--t

Useful video, thanks. I was dead-set on the RS 5 but the more I watch QV reviews the more it screams out...to get the QV. Candidly, I am a tad intimidated by the QV, so advanced driver training is a must, for me.

A great review if you’re thinking of buying 👍 I bought the 5.0 Supercharged 2 years ago , amazing car , great fun to drive , the acceleration is amazing and frightening at the same time. Never a dull moment with this car.

Hi Ed, Can remember changing from my Buso engined 164 to the 2.2 156 when it first came out, it was a change from Alfa to Fiat quality control and there was a distinct change in character, the newer one was more civilised, I liked it but missed the wayward nature of the older model. It’s prob progress in their eyes but looses that edge that made it an animal. Thanks for the battery change vid too, I have got this wrong in the past with the one touch windows thang ha.

I live by 2 philospohies in life, and one is never buy an Italian car despite how beautiful they look. But nice video nontheless.

great deal! I just got the 2024 Guilia Veloce MSRP $55K and because of 4800 miles being their loaner car, they knocked it down to $41K. was a win win for me. when/if the right Quad hits the depreciation mark I like, I will be upgrading if the Veloce pleases!

Thanks Ed, I tend to keep the battery topped up with an intelligent battery charger although stop / start rarely works for very long and I know a lot of owners have it disabled. I was sure you fitted an AGM one in an earlier video. I need one of those T shirts though 😊🍀💯🇮🇹🏁

For not loosing any "programming" I've heard that you could have used a back up-battery on the poles in the engine compartment. Of course you must have isolated the positiv conections in the rear while dying the change-job .... Thoughts on this ... ?

Nice video but on my QV that 10mm bolt was not a long bolt. It was at the bottom of the battery. I couldn’t get that nut off and get the battery out. Dealer replaced it under warranty.

Did you not have a dark blue one before? That was also a stunning colour! Why did you buy another one?

Good first video for this new GQV. The verde, buckets and exposed cf roof are to die for! I just ordered mine in May without any options (couldnt afford any) and lookong forward for mine to come eta October. In the meantime will make do with watching your videos while green with envy 😉🍀
