Sunday Dech dream is all we pray and hope for. Watching the boys at home will be a dream come true. I have traveled around to watch the boys during qualifiers for FIBA and I can say they are amazing to watch.
🇵🇷 All our respect. You guys got South sudan in your back, we got our Island behinds the National team. After 20 years of being out of the Olympics 🇵🇷 we are back. Puerto Rico Basketball team got over 60 years of basketball history. Defeating the USA, Soviet Union, being #4 in the world Cup, Wining FiBA Americas tournament. This year we are looking to win it all. Was thought last time in the world cup. If we both team defeats Serbia, we got a chance to make it. Serbia is our common Enemy.
I have a good feeling that South Sudan will become like the Lithuania of Africa, a basketball obsessed nation thanks to their team's success in the Basketball World Cup and playing in the Olympics. It started off with South Sudanese diaspora pushing the team high and will result in their whole country loving basketball. A similar story happened in Lithuania and Greece where the sport became popular there as a result of the American diaspora lifting their national teams.
I hope it will happen… all of African countries are too much obsess with football… South Sudan might change that… and it should to have some parity between football and other sports
@@alierngong8583 It's all right, bro. Such things happen on the field. I know that it wasn't done on purpose, but by accident. Borisa is fine now, he arrived with the other players by plane to Belgrade last night. Good luck and see you in Paris. Maybe in same group 😄🇷🇸🇸🇸❤️
My team already started cleaning basketball from Italy and Lithuania. Serbia and whole European Team, are going down. 💯🇵🇷 😂😂✌️ Getting ready for the Olympics. 👍
The Sudanese team jumped 32 spots from 63rd to 31st in the FIBA World rankings. Rising stars indeed. Former NBA all-star Luol Deng has done a good job bringing back basketball to his home country that has being going through a lot of issues with their own civil war.
I don’t know why I cried watching this. This is one of the best documentaries about South Sudan basketball. The people who fought for five decades for rights determinations just because they’re Christians in a Muslim-dominant country know they’re getting recognised worldwide even better than Sudan.
