I just have! Thanks for confirming (I think) that the hands free self driving on motorways is indeed available in the UK. Would be interested to see more, like the lane change assist.
My first car was a Mini Clubman estate - with the wooden bits 🙂. I used to take it down to Cornwall on surf trips and at night I'd unbolt the front seat turn it round and sleep in the back! I work for a certain German car company now delivering lots of EV's, BYD's, Ora's and various secondhand cars. The most enjoyable trip I've recently done was a secondhand Mini Countryman (petrol) to Dunfermline from Devon. I loved the car, so comfortable and fun to drive. I've heard the range on Mini EVs isn't good 🤔
Got the exact same car as in your review in Feb and it was one of the first and it’s great on every level, Mini have done an excellent job with this new model as it lives up-to expectations..
Great video and review Mark - I was waiting for this to drop after watching your creator series. I have always liked Coopers but felt I was too tall for them. This one might be a game changer for me! Cheers
I think the interior is great and as a modern look on the classic MORRIS, MINIi. I just think the headlights should of stayed round and it would of been perfect.
Brilliant review. I had the older Countryman JCW which was devastatingly upgraded from 230bhp to 300bhp 3 months after I bought it. Currently have an XC40 Recharge Twin, which, feels like it could rip a hole in space time when you floor it. But, range is a challenge outside of cities here in Australia. Seriously considering this new JCW. Would love to keep an EV but the charging infra here is so sparse outside of cities, EVs become a buzz around car that get charged at home. Even the charge network you can access in car parks etc. usually has a tech bros Tesla sat there enjoying an 8hr camp. I do think they should have made this a hybrid though.
I have always loved that car, but we need to face reality and start focusing on our children's future. Personally, I love to drive an electric car, but for those who need the sound from a motor, you can easily get that in the loudspeakers inside the car. I think it's sad that Mini still hasn't made a real EV-just saying. Thanks for an entertaining video, though.
Good grief man! Your in nature, stuff all the electronics and look around you, its much better. I use the train a great deal and go through some beautiful countryside and yet most of the people on the train, especially from Teenagers to fifty year olds have their faces buried in one screen or another!
45 grand for a MINI? Are BMW having a laugh?! Boot space mediocre. Comfort elements overpriced. Engine noise and wind noise far too intrusive. Rear legroom below average for the price. Of course the engine is tuned for enthusiasm and is genuinely good but the idea that a family with kids would go camping using this car is a joke. Perhaps Benny Nomates - but normal people? Naw.
Would you buy this Mini Countryman?

One of the best reviews I've seen for the U25 JCW!
A practical and fun car, definitely worth buying it as I will do shortly 😎
Ah, thank you!
Ordered mine in March, already produced and waiting for transport. Cannot wait !
Thank you for being the first person on the internet to show Android Auto in this car
Pleasure!
I love watching your reviews.
Thank you!

Nice review ... I love the edition of car reviews to your channel. I'm here for ALL of it.
Glad to hear it!

Glad I saw the vlogs before this review - loving the behind the scenes stuff.
Thanks, as always!
Thank you!
Great video Mark, I have a countryman last model it’s great, but now thinking of changing to the new one it looks great.
Thank you
Clive
Glad you enjoyed it!

great review Mark, not sure im so keen on the look of the mini though. I feared a brokeback mountain remake at first!!
The AR navigation is lovely
Love all the USB-C charging ports plus the wireless charging. Do you know if they support USB-C PD for fast charging?
You said that the key is part of the switch,so if someone broke into the car can they drive it away??????

Love the epic sound effects. Agree with others re: that it looks big and not Mini and also ugly. Bring back a nice blue etc normal Mini colours.
Yes
Great review.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Definitely not one of your normal reviews but still very good, not sure I like the looks of the Countryman though
I wish you would review the new Countryman E
great car, but that price! loved the review.
What drone are you using? Would you do a video review of drones?
The personalised exterior lights are cool. Get Nothing vibes from it.

MINI have just launched 2 Countryman EVs
Mark…get a M240i. It’s better value and just as good as the M2 for most people
I was looking at those yesterday, funnily enough!
Not a fan of the circular design but that's very Galaxy/Google Watch.
Not keen on the colour scheme at all, and it's not really mini any more is it, but otherwise looks pretty good.
Not having the speedo directly behind the wheel isn't for me
That’s what the Head Up Display directly behind the wheel is for.
Normal folk review. Nice. 100% nice
I appreciate that!
Another car taking away nice switches and buttons for a minimal screen :(
Can you at least use the knobs for things like aircon/volume/etc?

How long do you think I _really_ used that tech? 😉
That popping noise are faked :)
Dammmm that’s ug-leeee
Better looking than that hideous Cyber Truck.

No, and NOOOOOOO!
The small regular Mini Cooper S, petrol (non of that useless electric), with leather and round headlights.
This countryman is ugly!
Also the most ugly SUV ever
