Just picked up by 2025 countryman it’s my fourth one after a week of driving it I’ll tell you it’s still a lot of fun to drive and handles very well!!!
The first edition of this car I thought nooo…. I was walking to the shop and one was stopped at the traffic lights in black. My first impressions was this looks like it should have a coffin up in the back, I really didn’t like it. Now down the line I think it slots in nicely to the small suv / crossover range. It’s a versatile car, school run,IKEA shopping,weekend away camping ect and not to big as a, city car for parking. The look and styling has improved and the colour palette makes this new version appealing to the eye. The inside to me is off the chart simple and elegant and let’s not forget that must have sunroof. Love it, can’t afford it, would love it😂😂😂😂
wow and there i was thinking all these minis with union jack tail lights were made in the UK VERY IMPRESSIVE PRESS SHOP I USED TO WORK IN A PRESS SHOP BEFORE AUTOMATION

Clearly, the best jobs in this factory is the service, repair and maintenance of the automated control systems. The humans doing assembly will soon be replaced by robots.
It is so sad. The great part about all Minis were the buttons and the look and feel. That is all gone. I am happy I had an "old" Countryman (2020). This car is destroyed, and it will never be the same.
I had a 2006 mini S, last year of the super charged engines It was so much fun and a joy to drive. I had mine 8 years we 44k miles I had replaced 18 tires, none of which were worn out and two wheels costing about $18k, then a clutch replacement costing $4,500 It was my daily driver and was not driven hard, I have a corvette for that! But it was too costly to keep on the road

they will design this thing to death until it doesn’t resemble a mini any longer. they should concentrate on producing combustion engine models as ev’s are an utter waste of money and resources. and given most of the production is done by robots which in fact don’t earn any wages those vehicles are highly expensive. produced for a fraction of the sales prices, well specked models cost in the region of £50 to 60k. for a mini

I renamed the Not-so-Mini: The Ugly Maxi car. What started off to be a real Mini has become a Fat Car. It became the equivalent of an obese human. There's nothing Mini about it any more.
Which car from which series became smaller over the generations? I don't know any. The VW Golf is twice as big as the original model. VW Polo is now bigger than the original Golf. New models are being established to round off the bottom of the range. In the case of the Volkswagen, the Up or the Lupo. It's no different with other brands.
What the hell happened to the rear lamp? Where's the heritage that MINI has been showing up to now.. The wheel looks like a Chinese knife. I'm very worried.

I can't think of a modern BMW model (Mini is part of the BMW Group) that hasn't been destroyed (design-wise). Not surprising.

Are they still using the Prince Engine if so i would not buy one. See the model built in Germany doesn't have the Union Flag rear lights good to know.
