Another fantastic video, absolutely consummate delivery and a must have guide to painting SS Camo. Thank you again your work it really is outstanding. The miniature painting community salutes you.
I need some finer brushes for the smaller details at this scale. This is excellent. I’m glad I have held off painting some of my Germans. Your tutorials are most beneficial.
@@paintingpanzers You’re a bad influence, in a good way! Ha! I need finer brushes and some new paints, but I know I can use your guides to attain the results that I desire from my work.
Another great, succinct tutorial Kris. Like it that you’ve covered painting whole figure not just the camo scheme. Think Waffen Brown as oak leaf base differs from your previous videos so gives some slight variation. Will soon start on some AB SS & will try your various methods out. Just finishing off some AB FSJs first & attempting your Splitter & Tan & Water ‘recipes’! Would still love to see plane tree pattern & some winter uniforms (US & German) but always enjoy your videos & find them v useful. Thanks
Thanks a lot buddy 😁 I tried to keep the paints reduced for the camo on the tutorials and I found Waffen Brown to be a perfect base colour for both types of camo patterns. I look forward to seeing how yours come out! Winter Uniforms are coming, just in 28mm form but easily crossed over for 20mm. Plane tree is something I'm yet to crack but it'll happen soon as it's a popular request 😁
Fantastic tutorial, thinknI may give 20mm ago in the New Year. Rapid Fire played in 20mm is popular in one of the clubs I am a member of, plus I like the AB figures :)
@@paintingpanzers actually lots, White Stork, Scale75, Germania figures, Zvezda, Dynamo, Mantis and many more. Mainly slender figures well suited for dioramas.
@@paintingpanzers they aren’t especially for Wargaming, so that might be the reason. You can check out some of my videos if you like. You’ll find plenty of examples of these figures there. Zvezda is probably the best cross over brand available. Making hard plastic figures, designed for a Wargame, that are also highly detailed and realistic enough to be used by model builders and they are very affordable.

@anyblunder6782 ah yeah, lovely stuff!! I haven't heard of a few of those companies so I'll check them out 😁

Good tutorial but not a unit I’d ever own or play.
Thanks a lot mate and I completely understand your position 👍 I was the same with regards to Japanese but my stance has slowly changed.
