Hey Ryan, I really like the looks of the new Bronco. But I REALLY miss the 96 and older.
My step brother bought a Bronco new in 79. He still drives it. It has a 302 V8 with a 4spd std transmission. It’s yellow and white with tan interior.
A few years ago he had a frame off remodel. It’s a honey of a Bronco.
I had a 96 with the 4.9 liter straight 6. I needed a lot of low end torque to tackle the terrain that I needed it for.
It’s too bad Ford won’t bring back the 300+ K mile Inline 6. They didn’t have much hp, but a Ton of low end torque.
I’d put mine in “granny low” and it would go anywhere.
    Anyhow, another Great review.
    Thanks !

@@Davido50 I would but my situation has changed since then. My wife has an Outback and I have my Rav.
Our pickup is a 11 Ford Ranger XLT super cab 4X4 that we use for work around our property. It only has 34K miles on it.
It has the 4.0 V6. I’ve added a K&N intake and a 3 inch Flowmaster exhaust, air shocks so we can haul heavier loads.
It’s our 4th Ranger. They’re good little pickups.
We had a F150 reg cab long bed, but it wasn’t a 4X4, so we sold it when it hit 250K miles.

I agree however he notes that this is a loaner from a dealership and if you put yourself in his shoes would you want to be liable for a $75,000 vehicle? I’m sure there are bigger channels on TH-cam that can afford that liability and those channels can either buy the vehicle or can afford the risk in showing how it truly performs off road. At least that’s how I’m interpreting the direction they went with this video. Correct me if I’m wrong.

@@gs98999 Wow so the prices are similar to Europe. A Ranger Raptor in Germany costs 101,960 CAD and in Austria 121,073 CAD because of the stupid fuel consumption tax. Considering you get more capabilities out of the Ranger it's not that overpriced compared to it

@@imnotusingmyrealname4566 it is but I know local dealer managers would drive the broncos around for 500kms and then sell it back to the dealership and then upsell because it's a used vehicle . Very common here . The 450 I mentioned was used , so MSRP laws aren't valid

I saw one in person after waiting on my wife’s Bronco Sport to be serviced. My gosh, what a great looking vehicle. And I own a Rubicon Gladiator. The dealership had one in this sage green with gold flakes in the paint. I fell in love. And the fenders were painted in the same color. Just gorgeous. But at $93k that’s just a bit much. You can get these for around $80k if you look at a ‘23 model.
The stance, the height, the huge tires, the engine, it’s got such a presence. It just looks like it could go anywhere. Perfect Doomsday vehicle!

yep... I went with Cooper AT3 4S - used to have the stock Firestone destination AT tires (kinda like K02s). I was very shocked one day with the destination when I slammed on the brakes down hill in the wet. It slid WAY more than I thought it would. Cooper's are great if it rains a lot where you live (I live in Alabama). Right now, with the size upgrade and the change to Coopers it is VERY VERY difficult to lose traction. You can be very very stupid and it just... won't... slip....

I raced a Chevy Tahoe a few months ago. We couldn’t pass each other until his governor kicked in at 105mph. Then I started pulling away.

OK - let's think about this. A 2024 F-150 Raptor rolls out the door for $118,000 - add $15,350 for HST. A 2024 Bronco Raptor is all yours for $122,000. That's right, $122,000 +$15,860 HST. $137,860. Um, OK. Now all the systems are beefed-up, and require Raptor-only parts. So no more trips to NAPA, you are tied to the dealer. Great. Then there's the fuel mileage. My 2012 F-150 with a 3.5 EB uses 10 - 11 liters per 100 km at 112 kph. The Bronco Raptor is sucking up 15+ liters per 100 Km in-town or on the highway. Then you have to insure the beast. $5,000/yr. Yay!

Problem is trying to find stock size all terrain tires is pretty difficult, I had to go up to 235/75-R15's to get the Coopers...the stock size 205/75-R15's don't offer anything other than street tires, no thanks...I do some back country roads occasionally, and snow/mud issues in the winter so, street tires aren't going to cut it.

0-60 mph in 6.7 seconds is high performance? Your video doesn't highlight this Bronco's capability; it shows problems that would concern a serious off-road enthusiast. A twin turbocharged V-6 with 400+ horsepower may be great in the passing lane, but it won't perform well at 12,000 feet, where a naturally aspirated engine with sensible power and proper gearing and weight would. Just because this vehicle has Fox suspension and you can cram 37" tires under the wells doesn't mean you should. There's simply too much rolling mass to efficiently move.
