The Frenchiest French pumpkin there ever was. I was skeptical at first but the croissant slippers really sold it. And you could totally wear that in public. It's clearly pumpkin-themed but it's not like one of those big round Halloween costumes. I think it looks great
At this point I’m convinced you and Rachel Maksy are friends and plan autumn costumes for your channels over zoom while drinking coffee and eating pastry. Don’t tell me if I’m wrong, I love the cozy vibes.
That's some fabulous French foot fashion you've got there. And the pumpkin shirt is nice, too! This reminds me of when Rachel Maksy attempted to make jack-o-lantern sleeves a while ago and had a lot of trouble getting the shape right. Who would have thought to secret to pumpkins was actually bananas?
Yeesss! Pattern Magic! We used those in college in a drafting class to experiment with what is possible with patterns. They really open your eyes to just WHAT is possible. I love how you used them to make pumpkins. This turned out super cute!
You've inspired me to go out to my workshop to look through my scraps of orange silk and make a little pumpkin reticule! That top is so cute, I hope you have so much fun wearing it!
The blouse is very, very cute, but I LOVE the squiggly spiral thingies, and the leaves!!! And of course the fact that there's 10 bananas in each pumpkin. Who would have guessed?
Tip for squiggly things, cut two spirals, sew them together into a tube, and they'll squiggle without needing wire. Also, I also need a top with pumpkin boob cups. I'm somewhat excessively blessed at the bust, and that would look so so funny on me. They'd basically be life-sized pumpkins, lol.
I adore the "French seams" outfit; the croissant slippers are the perfect touch! And waving your croissant slippered foot every time you say French seam afterwards is so funny! The mathematical formulas crowding the screen during the patterning process perfectly illustrates my own feelings on the process! Those sleeves are...perfect pumpkins, after you adjusted the size and shape of the pieces! With the leaf bows, it's just perfection! You need to model it with your leaf skirt; the perfect fall outfit!!!
I've seen some of the things that get on the fashion runways. Your pumpkin top is way more practical and fun! This such a fun project and has lots of ideas I never would have thought of. All of which I will keep in mind for my next costume construction. If the kids ever gets his head out of the computer and picks a costume! Also love the way Not Your Car just keeps coming back and taking over sewing room!
I love all the pumpkin transitions. 4:47 Imagine what an outfit inspired by the multicolored pumpkins on the right could be. Pumpkin pants where one leg is orange the other green with stripes of a small pattern for the yellow speckles. I’ll add this to my to draw list.
Fun fact: most squashes (and squash relatives like the pumpkin) have similar shaped leaves when they start off as seedlings. I grow my own pumpkins and sometimes I'll grow the other squashes and I'll have to make sure not to mix up the seedlings down the line.
Oh la la !! Le résultat est adorable !! Autant cette blouse potiron que la vidéo avec ce super montage et le choix musical 👍🏻 Avec la jupe feuilles 🍁 🍁🍁 ! Un automne réjouissant ! À bientôt ! 🌸🌸🌸
This dramatic blouse NEEDS a dramatic skirt, that would be so cool! Maybe a pumkin patch, garden or something with vines? Or a very big pumkin as a skirt 🤔
I love your reveal photo poses, they range from whimsy to haute couture and the pumpkin shirt fits any presentation! An amazing piece, and really good instructions for the techniques as well! Also, the croissant slippers are perfect!
Oh my Spooks it's gorgeous!, this would totally look adorable for not just fashion but also custom dolls. Dollightful should totally see this in case she want's to make a Pumpkin character.
The vibes in this video are 👌perfection and the top is so cute! I especially love the velvet! The duochrome effect is so pretty. I don't know why but the 🥐 French 🥐 bits that you've been using in the past few videos (like in your Japan video) just tickle my brain and I think it's the funniest shit ever XD never stop. And also I think I need to get croissant slippers for my roommate who is French-Canadian Would wearing this top with your leaf skirt be too on the nose? 🤔🤔 Maybe you can make a black vest to go on top with some pumpkin leaf embroidery🤔
I love all of that Frenchness! Those croissant slippers are to die for. And math classes useful...eh. Maybe in primary school. After that..not so much.
When I thrift garments, one of the first things I remove are the shoulder pads. However I love the "pouf" on that pumpkin shirt. I am glad cameows (ouch, please do not block me) of "the cat who is not my cat" were included. Those slippers, "parfait" !
i just stumbled across your channel and i love your halloween energy!! and your sewing expertise shines through on every step of the way. already subscribed!!
That is the cutest thing!!! So clever! Every detail is just perfect. I understand how that photo inspired you to make the shirt. And those velvet leaves with the spiral tubes are the perfect finishing g touch! I love the way your button holes turn out. I’ve noticed them in other projects. Are they made with an attachment included with your sewing machine? Or is it something you can buy separately? Thank You for all the fun and inspiring videos. As for your projects being practical….that’s not always necessary and not why we watch your channel. We’re here for the fun and if I learn something new, it’s the cherry on top! Thanks!!
2:31 the universal struggle of not wanting to make a mock-up but knoeing you should hit close to home 🤣 although tbh I think the only mockup I've ever done was for foam armor 😅
Waouh ! What a great job. Bravo Ariel. Félicitations d’une vieille mamie admirative.
f you want to help me make more silly costumes, you can support my channel on patreon! ♥

That is the perfect "Halloween Mom" outfit. Instead of a costume that might be uncomfortable, handing out treats in such a cute outfit seems perfect!
Or picking kids up from school. The coolest mom...
@sarahrosen4985 that's something a mom would do thinking she's cool but then her kids just roll their eyes lol
I was thinking the same thing, and best of all usable each year too.
The croissant slippers!!! 😂😂😂 Chanel could never 🥐🥐
Where can we find these slippers to order?
I love that you looked at accordion-pleated Japanese fashion patterns and thought, "pumpkins!"
The Frenchiest French pumpkin there ever was. I was skeptical at first but the croissant slippers really sold it. And you could totally wear that in public. It's clearly pumpkin-themed but it's not like one of those big round Halloween costumes. I think it looks great
I would love to see you and Rachel Maksy colab! You give off similar fall vibes!
Yes! Even something virtual would be fun!
I was thinking the same 🧡
Right this reminded me of her light up jack-o-lantern sleeves! Love them both!
totally my thought while watching this video !
I second this! A virtual team up would be awesome!
At this point I’m convinced you and Rachel Maksy are friends and plan autumn costumes for your channels over zoom while drinking coffee and eating pastry. Don’t tell me if I’m wrong, I love the cozy vibes.
🐈 glad that the not my cat is always ready to help with your projects 🎃
That pumpkin top is top 😉 notch
I wonder how it would look with your leafy skirt from the last project !
Just what I thought! Edit: also the witch hat to complete the look?
I was wondering this too!
Your pumpkln blouse is so darling! I imagined it paired with your fluttery leaf skirt.
So cute! I hope you make a matching pumpkin drawstring bag/reticule :)
Also, Rachel Maksy would probably come and steal this if she could
This is such a cute outfit !

Oh, that would be darling!
This is so cute! I feel like this is the kind of shirt that belongs on a vintage greeting card with a fantastic skirt, hair, and set
That’s brilliant! And all the better now we know how many bananas go into a pumpkin.
I was unconvinced about the pumpkin boobs at the beginning, but as usual I simply could not yet see the genius of it 😂 Flawless content, as always ❤
Not My Cat is adorable. It is fun to see you make something just for the joy of it.
Normally I am the Pumpkin Queen, but I must humbly pass my crown to you this year. YOU are the Pumpkin Queen! 🧡
I think this is my fave thing you’ve made! Absolutely honestly I think you could wear it casually…at least during fall.
I love the 1830/1895 vibes these sleeves are giving me!
I snorted so loud at the slippers 😂 Autumn is the best! This pumpkin blouse is a hit, imagine how many things you could hide in the sleeves!
The blouse is very, very cute, but I LOVE the squiggly spiral thingies, and the leaves!!! And of course the fact that there's 10 bananas in each pumpkin. Who would have guessed?

Well I have the exact opposite problem, they are perfect butternut squash size! don't think it would look that cute 🤔😢😭😭
i actually really like her casual working outfit, she looks comfortable but serious. Good job I dig.
Avec la jupe en feuilles, ce sera un look halloweenesque parfait 😅😊
🤣🤣🤣 I would wear that ever day in October 🤣. You should wear it grocery shopping at the busiest time of day. It will make so many people smile.
I came for the pumpkins and stayed for the banana
Don’t stop with the blouse. Make this an entire dress!
I adore the "French seams" outfit; the croissant slippers are the perfect touch! And waving your croissant slippered foot every time you say French seam afterwards is so funny!

This is the best orange garment I have ever seen!! Love it. I might also need the croissant slippers and your amazing t-shirt haha

À bientôt !

If there ever was a right place and reason for 1830s sleeves, pumpkins would be it XD lovely vid!
The cutest pumpkin shirt ever! It makes me think of Ms. Valerie Frizzle from Magic School Bus!
As a Valerie, I approve this message. 😁
This top with the leaves skirt.🎉🎉🎉
This dramatic blouse NEEDS a dramatic skirt, that would be so cool! Maybe a pumkin patch, garden or something with vines? Or a very big pumkin as a skirt 🤔
I laughed so hard when you ask us to hear you out regarding the PUMPKINS... naughty naughty!!
The mic on the scissors is SO PRECIOUS oml
I love it 🥺😍
Thank you 💖

That is an adorable top. 10/10 would wear
Great. Now I want a pumpkin top
I love your reveal photo poses, they range from whimsy to haute couture and the pumpkin shirt fits any presentation! An amazing piece, and really good instructions for the techniques as well! Also, the croissant slippers are perfect!
The croissant slides 😂😂😂

I work in a library and would wear that to work 100%…it’s awesome!
Omg, this is the prettiest pumpkin blouse I’ve ever seen! The croissant slippers!! The cat kneading the fabric! This video is fall perfection 🧡🎃🧡
I say again, you are so lucky to have all crafty supplies an arm length away, in a cupboard or drawer. The buttons were perfect as is the entire top.
French seam plug-ins with the slippers is PURE GOLD, thank you XD
Oh my Spooks it's gorgeous!, this would totally look adorable for not just fashion but also custom dolls. Dollightful should totally see this in case she want's to make a Pumpkin character.
I feel like rachael maksy will love this video
My first thought when I saw the finished top was “ how cute would that look with the leaf skirt !”
So adorable! That top could be the start of an autumn fairy costume. I especially loved the bows made of velvet leaves and vines. Super cute!
I so appreciate the 2 seconds of behind-the-scenes footage at the biscuit making factory XD
Now that you have the pattern, imagine it in red velvet ect.
HELL YEAHHHHH I FREAKING LOVE PUMPKINSSSSSS 🎃
I think this is one of your cutest makes 🤩🫶🏻

Those slippers had be laughing!!😅 Mist enjoyable video and a really cute top. The bows were perfect!!
A good accessory might be some pumpkin seed earrings. Thank you for this wonderful project.
I really like the buttons you chose - they look like pumpkin seeds in color!
I love all of that Frenchness! Those croissant slippers are to die for. And math classes useful...eh. Maybe in primary school. After that..not so much.
Such a fairy tale pumpkin top!!! Gorgeous whimsy!!
When I thrift garments, one of the first things I remove are the shoulder pads. However I love the "pouf" on that pumpkin shirt. I am glad cameows (ouch, please do not block me) of "the cat who is not my cat" were included. Those slippers, "parfait" !

Pumpkin chic! Love your humor and creativity. Nothing better than warm croissant slippers on a rainy day. Cozy 😂
OMG I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! The little bows WITH THE SPRINGS! This is the perfect spot between normal clothing and costumes. I need one in my life! ❤❤❤
Your pumpkin shirt would definitely be worn by tons of people!!!
It looks amazing! Now i can see mushroom sleeves and if you used the more banana shape croissant sleeves!
I love the top it’s cute, and the use of wadding in the pumpkin parts was spot on, better than lots of gathering.❤️❤️
I really hope you someday do a croissant dress, because fashionnnn!
This bodice is amazing! Your construction on it is just "chef's kiss"! The sleeves are the best part!

She shows the button hole attachment in the video. It is white plastic.
@@m.maclellan7147 I saw that, but it doesn’t answer if it’s an accessory you can buy separately or comes with her machine
waaaa, so cool! i love it! also, a reminder: mockups are VERY important XD
Tbh, I thought this would be a pumpkin handbag after the sneak peek pictures, but a pumpkin top is just as cool
The giggle and squeal of joy I let out at le reveal omg !!! It is so cute I can’t handle it.
That is amazing! It makes me wish I could wear orange, and I have never in my life wished that. 😂
I wanted pumpkin styled Juliet sleeves in the community posts and my prayers were answered
this is the cutest thing you've ever made!! It looks so comfortable and squishy. Brava!!
So Cute! I'm always so impressed by the quality of the items you make, your skill and creativity are amazing!
Brilliant! Happy pumpkin and crunchy leaf season ❤
it's ridiculously flattering, and i loooooove it!
AAAH THE SLEEVES!!!
I love this shirt so much! It reminds me of a shirt pattern I found and fell in love with that had puffy sleeves like yours!
2:31 the universal struggle of not wanting to make a mock-up but knoeing you should hit close to home 🤣 although tbh I think the only mockup I've ever done was for foam armor 😅
Adorable. Love it.
Perfect festive outfit for Chun-Li
Jack-O-Lantern face on a shoulder or one of the "cups" might look interesting.
Waouh ! What a great job.

Félicitations d’une vieille mamie admirative.
