    I think you should put tints just to protect your interior. The legal tint or translucent type with an acrylic ultraviolet protection is excellent against fading. You know if the GS-R is gonna be parked outside where the sun exposed for long periods of time. They are options out there.

    Yes bro!! The evo 9 Mr on nfs carbon with the Mr wheels and vortex generator is what started making me come to the bright side of the evo vs sti debate. What solidified it is riding in my buddies flawless (had legit 14k miles) 450whp 9 Mr in GG. Been working my ass off to afford one ever since that day, it blew my mind. It’s like an amusement park ride on wheels that you can ride at any time

    I think I want to get the same CSF radiator. Will it give enough clearance for bigger turbo kits?
    Also does the upper radiator hose route in the same path as the Evo 4-6?
    I also did 70% Xpel Prime Plus tint on my car all around as well.

    • @ChrisGoorbarry
      @ChrisGoorbarry  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It also has the route for the 4-6 so the radiator hose will just be straight! Forgot to mention that!

    Good video.
    I think a parts price total would be an awesome video to make because, at the end if the day, cost to modify cars is the #1 reason that imitations the type of builds people can undertake.
    Also, would you consider building a separate 4G63? I'm a huge fan of rebuilding a blown engine vs messing with a perfectly good engine.
    Just a thought.

  • @faisalfirdausiinn4708
    @faisalfirdausiinn4708 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Yes.. PLEASE have TINT on it.
    Not because of cosmetics reason, but to PROTECT your car's INTERIOR.
    u don't necessarily need to buy darker tint in order to do so.
    A very clear TINT can protect it as much as darker tint as long as u know which TINT to use.
    Of course u need to do your research just a little bit.

    Have you ever seen the stm ricer evo? They have a slim radiator that's absolutely gorgeous. Very expensive but clean.

    • @ChrisGoorbarry
      @ChrisGoorbarry  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Really nice but no fan shroud. You still end up using the radiator zip ties! But the stm unit is nice! I just feel like csf thought about everything on this one! You can tell it was made or influenced by someone who owned a ct9a and went through all the issues I've gone through.

  • @marlonswaby8824

    You should wrap the roof glass black , and get carbon fiber covers for the mirrors and door handles oh yeah and the fuel door if you want to i did mine and i think it looks really nice .for the window tint do 35% it's not too dark.

    • @prfinest07
      @prfinest07 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have a evo rs in red. The roof clear coat was flaking so I sanded it in the process of wrapping it in gloss black. I also ordered the rally art carbon mirrors

    • @andydhillon1977
      @andydhillon1977 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I disagree. The Evo 8 and 9's are in thst stage of life where less is more. The more original it is, the better.

    • @DJ_Driven
      @DJ_Driven ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would say the rally art CF mirrors. No go on the CF covers, handles & fuel door for me. IMO the OEM painted parts looks best. Could go with super light tint UVA / UVB block film just to protect the interior parts from sun fade.

    • @sdlausen1
      @sdlausen1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don't do this... Roof should only be black if it's actually carbon.

  • @thirteen12
    @thirteen12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Seriously great radiator, better than my Koyo/SPAL combo, but that wheel fitment isn't ideal on the 8/9. I'll say this in every Evo video, because I wish I knew this years ago. +38 offset gives you a lot more room without having to permanently modify rear fenders.

    • @ChrisGoorbarry
      @ChrisGoorbarry  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks bud! +38 hits the front brembos with TE's so then you need spacers and spacers for me are a no go!

    • @thirteen12
      @thirteen12 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ChrisGoorbarry yes that's a common concern, but there's a right and wrong way to run spacers. Serious time attack cars running hubcentric 20mm slip on spacers with extended studs have zero issues, it's the bolt on junk that's questionable. Track cars even use front spacers to tune out understeer. The people using poorly made spacers to fit their fake wheels are in a whole other category from this
