This was delicious I added another table spoon of flour and butter and simmered a tad longer before adding my cheese because I like my sauce on the thicker side and it was peeeerfect 🤤 thank you!
This looks sooo delicious! I absolutely loved the idea of adding a bit of nutmeg to the sauce. I bet that gives it so much flavor. Also, thank you so much for actually tasting your food on camera!!! I feel like that is one of the most important parts of a food blogger. There is just some level of satisfaction when seeing ppl try the food they prepared. It actually bothers me when ppl have a cooking show, but don't taste their food. I recently found a YT channel and although the recipes looked really good, this person would not taste their food. I've left multiple comments in the comment section telling them that they need to taste their food because it doesn't make the video feel personable and I just couldn't connect. This person had a question for her viewers where she was wondering why her channel wasn't growing and she has been pumping out lots of videos. So there were 3 questions she posted asking her viewers to give feedback as to what she can do to improve her videos to gain more subscribers. I replied to her letting her know that she needs to engage with her viewers and taste the food, as once she completes her recipes, she never really cuts into the food, nor does she show a close up of it, and she never tastes it and the videos just ends leaving us viewers wonder what it looked like on the inside and what did it taste like. Unfortunately, she did take the advice as future videos continued in the same manner, so I got bored and unsubscribed. 😕 I know this is lengthy, but I feel like viewers should give feedback on what we love to see and it helps ppl like yourself with a YT channel k ow what to focus on when creating a video. I absolutely love that when you make one of your beautiful cakes and you would think its too pretty to cut into, you dive right in and cut it for us viewers. That right there is my favorite part of the show!!! Keep up the good work!!! 💕💕💕
Hi! I'm so glad you found my channel and I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying my videos! I love adding that touch of nutmeg - the sauce is amazing! :) And I love trying my food - especially since I'm usually very hungry while filming! :)
So easy and delicious. I love it. My daughter loves pasta so much, and this recipe will be perfect for her. Thank you Tatyana. You're the best. Love you.
I just made this sauce but put broccoli in it and it taste so so good!!! I baked the broccoli and then put it in! I also made it the chicken exactly how you did and it was so good😋 I wanted to switch my food up a bit and this is probably the best dish I’ve ever made. And I’ve been cooking since I was 5 years old

I was looking for recipe no heavy cream recipe. I found your channel. Love the video. I just subscribe to you channel and hit like button. Do you think I can freeze this recipe. Thank you
Thank you so much for subscribing! I hope you love the recipe! It's been my go-to for many years, as I find heavy cream in sauces to be too heavy. Yes, this would freeze nicely, too. Just defrost in the fridge first, then reheat.

@@TatyanasEverydayFood I love the recipe and I tried it with almond milk and it worked I just had to add more cheese and flour to thicken it also I added a little bit of white wine to the chicken and a little bit of sherry and white wine to the sauce and used penne instead of fettuccine
I LOVE to use salted butter for savory cooking. I always use unsalted for baking so I can control the amount of salt. For cooking, I like to use a grass-fed, salted butter because these types of butters have a ton of natural flavor that improves that taste of the dish, too. :)
Hi thanks for you vedeo recipe. Please could you writer also the all the recipes after cook. Sometimes we can't good listen when say. Big thanks from Bali Indonesia 🙏🙏🙏🙏😍👌

Hi Lula! Thank you so much for watching! :) There are a lot of different KitchenAid mixers, I would recommend a mixer with a 5qt bowl to start with. These are available online and in-stores. Try searching for them online. The mixer I have is a special edition in copper and it's sold by Williams Sonoma. The one I have is usually sold out so if you don't see it, check back occasionally :)
Oh, no! Sorry about that! That can happen if you add the liquids to the roux too fast. Add the broth and milk in slowly, whisking constantly. That should help next time. Glad you enjoyed it! :)
That’s a nice Recipe. You know, I think it would be cool if either your brother, husband, or maybe even your parents can be in any of your videos (to support you) one day. You don’t have to, but I think it would be a great suggestion, but you do what you wanna do.
You can try it with a creamy nut milk or even coconut milk, but it will give the dish a coconut flavor! I really like Ripple milk, it's made out of pea protein :)
Ima guy who doesn’t close lid on meats, the pot will retain the water and cause steaming which will remove the ingredients from the chicken, tasting more bland…
Omg why don't you use the pan you made the chicken in so you get all that garlic and cooked bits that are stuck to bottom and some of that great seasoning you used. Smh

Tip: Just take out the chicken and make the sauce in the pan.
Veeery good tip but sometimes you want the white sauce to have a tame flavor + to keep the color plain so I can see both methods be valid
Yes! It adds more flavor to the sauce!

Hi Caroline! :) I'm so glad you enjoyed the maple pecan cake - one of my favorites! :)
Wow. Yummy alfredo recipe.
Thank you so much!
Can I make this in the early afternoon for my dinner at 6
This looks great but why didnt you make the sauce in the pan you used to fry the chicken? Those bits stuck on the bottom are extra flavour.
Do we have to add chicken brouse to the sauce if we’re not making any chicken? Just pasta?
You can replace the chicken broth with vegetable broth instead. Enjoy!
Looks great I can't wait to try it. Thank you!😘😘😘

Can I use 2% milk instead of whole milk?
Yes, 2% milk will also work well, but the sauce won't be as rich. Enjoy!
I'm lactose intolerant, what do you suggest as a replacement for the milk?
If you’re lactose intolerant why would you want to eat a cheesy pasta dish?
You can try it with a creamy nut milk or even coconut milk, but it will give the dish a coconut flavor! I really like Ripple milk, it's made out of pea protein :)
Couldn't have clicked fast enough!
Thanks so much for watching! :)
How do you know when to use Salted/Unsalted Butter? 🧈
I only use salted butter for savory cooking, never for desserts! :)
Can I leave out the chicken broth?
You will need to substitute with something else, like more cream or vegetable broth.
What can I replace for whole milk
You can use half-and-half or regular cream in place of the milk.
