So the first time I watch this video, I did not listen and I went to the store to buy Alfredo sauce. I’m watched this video again today and followed every direction & when I was done making it actually from scratch with the heavy, whipping cream, the butter and the garlic this was so good .& I added broccoli
I love this! Thank you for your channel and for literally changing the way I cook! I rake in the compliments from my family, and it’s all because of you!
THANK YOU for sharing your recipes and instruction! I've been cooking for 50 years but just consider myself a so-so cook. Every recipe I've tried of yours has been over the top!
I pull my chicken out of the oven at 155° to 160°. It always has a carryover temperature and typically rises another 10°. That way you’re pretty much guaranteed a juicy chicken. You could always put it back in for a minute or two but you can’t reverse it as you well know. Love your videos. Stay well ❤
Lol ok so you and he both pull it out of the oven at a certain temperature but both of you neglected to say about how many minutes that is! Yes we can all put a meat thermometer in it but who wants to do that over and over when we can just take it out at about the right time- assuming the chicken is about this size?
@@TopGunAthlete I cook mine at 425° for approximately 30 to 35 minutes. This always varies on the oven and the size of the chicken breasts. If you don’t have a thermometer you could pull it put a knife in the center and if the juices run clear it is done. I hope this helps you❤️
@@TopGunAthlete all ovens are different. One person can cook something for 30 minutes at a certain temp and have it be perfect while someone else cooks it at that temp and it takes 40 minutes. You just have to play with it and find the sweet spot. Like homie also said, depends on the size of the chicken, as well. When baking anything, always use the temp and time as a guideline and not an exact science, since it will always be different. Trial and error, my friend, trial and error.
I use permico romano as the cheese in the sauce, 2 cups on a fine side grater. The parmigiano reggiano shred for a topping cheese is the same as permico, fine grater. Also for some, you can cut back on the butter by half a stick, that way the sauce isnt overwhelming with butter taste. Grinder black pepper, sea salt. 4 garlic cloves crushed in garlic press.
I just got your Best of Both Worlds Cookbook!!!! Beautiful photography and premium quality hardback with thicker glossy pages. I love the straight forward step by step recipe formatting. Worth it purchase! Thanks again!
@@crashlight7686 I put it in after my garlic butter and heavy cream, then I add my Parmesan cheese. Lol since he uses 2 cups I would cut back at least a cup.
Lol I just made alfredo last night with Italian chicken sausage.... my poor husband is so tired of me. I make it every week 😅😅 thanks as always Matt!!!!!!!❤

@nikkifm221 use a thermometer to check the internal temp, i would say about 15 to 20 minutes, but you can always pull a piece out, and slice into it. If the temp is right and the meat is white, you good to go.
I have been watching your content for the past few months you da goat bro stg man love all the meals you show us and I appreciate you for taking your time out a providing such great meals💯
I subscribed a minute ago and I started with the salmon video and after that I was hooked 😊. I used this one today and I’m a caterer and it is so quick to do. I’m so extra😅I added the spinach, some sweet colorful peppers, celery and onions. Honnnneeeeyyyy o and so smoked sausage with some garlic bread. If you gone do it just gone on and do it then…it is delicious! ❤😋💪
When you out the chicken in the oven at 400 degrees, how long does it stay in there? Or are you checking the internal temp every few mins for the 165? Thanks
I'm mesmerized by the pans that you're using. I swear that's the same pan set that Gordon Ramsey endorses. I'm definitely going to try this recipe out in the very near future. Thanks for the video. You keep it real.
@washingtonsports4120 I know this sounds weird, but apparently Gordon Ramsey has partnered with the company, and they are giving away an entire set. All you have to do is pay the shipping cost. I'm sorry, I raised the bull S^*^ flag on that. Definitely, the way to go but I'd have to take a 2nd mortgage out on my house to be able to afford the entire set.
I always order Chicken Alfredo when I eat at the Olive Garden. This looks better than what they serve!! Mr. Make It Happen does it again!! Drop the fork 🍴 and mic 🎤🎙️!!! ❤
try doing the sauce in the same pan where you fried the chicken. much more flavours and you need no kajun , AP seasoning . i love this dish and thank you for the video :-)
Getting ready to make this. Already know it will be good because the jerk chicken pasta recipe is so good. Update: made this twice over the last few days. Family smashed it. Ty. Even cooked the extra breasts the same way and they were a hit on their own.
Great tips…. Especially when and when not to substitute certain ingredients… Although, in my opinion is that chicken cooks best in coconut oil. Light oil with a great taste. 😋
Followed this exactly aside from, I added creamecheese.. dude my fiance literally came home from work and said "Either you got this from olive garden or this is supposed to be a date night.." I was like "thank you?"

Quick tip: if you have more salt than you'd like, toss a potato in there, it'll absorb the salt, so you can enjoy even if you added too much parm

Right! The ones from the store taste weird so i make my own
Especially with the parmesean you have to shred yourself.
And a table spoon or two of cream cheese
