Used Paragon for ages now. Think it was the FDC who pointed me there. Perfectly good for the cost, does the job and if you care for them they’ll serve you fine.
Appreciate the demonstration, recommendation, and link for purchase. Just bought a pack of the fleece type as I’ve just run out of towels, so looking forward to giving them a try. Keep up the good work 🚘 👌🏼
Thanks for this Jon. As someone who just cleans my car, and a few family/friends, with limited knowledge of microfibre, this is great content. I saw someone mention mcrofbr earlier and they are getting some good press and about the same cost (ish). I have some smaller fleece from eurocarparts and use them quite a lot, i do like the fleece ones. All the best 👍.
Got the seamless fleece MF cloths off the back of this review. They are lovely! Really good quality and the perfect size for a quick wipe down. Chinchilla softness. Thanks for sharing 🙌🏻
Paragon have a great selection for great prices but for me, Clean Your Ride do some superb quality towels for round about the same price (look at their General Lee towel). I still love my Klin Korea towels though! 😊 Glad I stocked up on them as they seem to be very hard to get in the UK now which is a shame.
Couldn’t have timed this video better for me Jon. My ‘rag’ level microfibres are nearly all in the bin and my ‘good’ microfibres are due a down grade in duties.
Awesome bargain hunting as always :) I use the costco ones for general use, but never used them on paint. I've been looking for a cheap/decent polish/wax removal towel for a while. been using the klin zeros but sometimes doesn't pick up as good as a TRC creature edgeless. I did look at these a few months ago, but really haven't found anything close to the rupes yellow towel, but as a weekend warrior, I don't think I'll find better than the paragon for the price
I don’t wear my cloths out, they end up getting contaminated. They blow off the car onto the drive or worse on the garage floor where there are filings and saw dust.I assume contaminated towels should be thrown out or used as rags , but never for polishing paint ? Does a wash cycle remove contamination. Many thanks Jon.
Wow, these look like such a bargain Jon! Do these fleece lint a lot? I tried using the kirkland ones but thye just drops bits everywhere, little yellow spots all around my interior
@@ForensicDetailingyeah I've kept away from them purely just because Costco stuff isn't always good. Can't afford to put scratches into paintwork from a dodgy microfibre
yer i mean its cool for the price and perfectly usable but they go stiff fast and tend to give up fibers a bit more. But costcos are even cheaper perhaps what 50p a towel which is great value. I think I would use whatever you like but the paragone edgeless terrys are better i think. These coral fleeces are good for polishing buffing but a bit to soft and fluffy for general use.

I bought both the terry and the fleece I was surprised they are decent to be fair 👍🏻 thanks for the vid 😀
Video came out at the right time, thanks. I'm on the market for some new microfibre towels.😊
bought the paragon applicators and pearl weave micro fibrres and they are excellent, superb prices and service.
ive been using costco Kirkland jon, they updated and really nice

Thank you for content. Can you make update, how the towels behave after few washes?
yer ok mate for the price really good but obviously not korean quality but they are like 5-6 pound a towel these are like 50-60p
The fish scale window cloth and twisted loop drying towel are top quality but a good deal
Good evening John 😊
evening m8

The kirklands, I only use for interior or household work. I don't like non edge less for paint

Handy for a ceramic/graphene coating levelling.
Any plans to review DIY Detail products in upcoming videos Jon?
No short term plans to m8 got big backlog working through it now
Have you had a chance to use or look at the "Mcrofbre" cloths? - 40pk for £25 works out even cheaper and they seem very good quality
They have stiched edge but are nice for cleaning
Hi Jon, if I wanted to go up a little on the quality, which Korean ones would you recommend please?
Try a carpro Orange boa 350 gsm. you will like I promis.
Paragon do some nice products for fair pricing 👍
mcrofbre do a pack of 40, 40x40, 400gsm for about £23. I've been using them and they are decent. Maybe worth a look.
Stitched edge ones right. I've used these they are pretty good
Great video John! Have you seen the UK brand mcrofiber? They only do a universal towel for now but they work out about 56,p each and they are 400gsm
I've used those, their not up there with the best but perfectly acceptable and the price is amazing

yes if you drop a towel dont bin it just shake it out and wash it mate.
Wheee do you get them from then Jon
I do love a good microfibre cloth my wife thinks I’m mental always checking out the quality of clothes 😂
How do they compare to the quality of ragmaster eagle edgeless?
Lower quality m8
A mixed pack of 18 of each would be good. Don't clean the car enough to warrant 72 cloths. 😂
Wow, these look like such a bargain Jon! Do these fleece lint a lot? I tried using the kirkland ones but thye just drops bits everywhere, little yellow spots all around my interior
Go with Terry version m8
Thanks for info just ordered a batch as needed a re stock. Out of interest what do you wash your towels with?
I would appreciate a quick heads up on this aswell John.
Any liquid non bio. Literally any whatever is cheapest.
Thank you for the answer👍
@@ForensicDetailingstandard wash cycle right?
@@ForensicDetailingme too and washed on 30 degrees
They are 300gsm and 70/30 mix
It says 250gsm on the website?
Ignore me...i was looking at the terry ones! ha
Aren't costco kirkland about £13 for 36?
19.99 on costco site
I use ALDI ones :)
Says 300 GSM on the web site
No USA?
UK mate
so in short you say these would these be good for quick detailer sprays, wax removal etc
Not so good for detail sprays too fluffy. Wax and polish. Get the terry for detail sprays not fleece
£13.50 postage to Northern Ireland 😮 won't be getting my business
Same as the Scottish Highlands, just ridiculous
😳5:17 yeah, SHE NEVER SAID THAT... 😭
Think i paid a lot less at costco for 36.
The GSM is 250
No way
Paid advertising?
Nope m8, bought and payed for and negatives covered. No contact with paragone.
Did you see the banner?
Costco cheaper
Sorry, but if they won't disclose the blend percentages and/or the country of origin, then I won't buy them, no matter the cost.
Just ask them I'm sure they will tell you
Website says both are 70/30 blend
Rather get kirkland
I wouldn't
