The rag company makes some of the best towels! I'll say if you haven't I'd try the drying blanket from diy detail they also have a smaller size. Its just an amazing twist loop. Rags to riches best detergent I've ever used
OMG!!I also love the same exact small 12x12 towel!! Plus I have small hands .I love how it makes my car shine….I cannot wait to go spend vacation time at your awesome RESORT!you’re the best,I sure do look up to you!thanks for all you do…
Great to see that you use edgeless towels in your lineup. I met an older gentleman while I was doing door to door sales down in phoenix and he had a 12 hour car wash process that he did inside and in his garage but he recommended edgeless and refused to use any edged towels because they could leave swirl marks on the paint. He owned an old Mercedes and it was 20 years old and the paint looked brand new not a single swirl mark. He had a big obsession with griots and told me his process but I for the life of me can’t find it.
Bro wish you would do a live Q&A and have a chat with you and hear your story from HS to current, how you started your business? How you partnered with others to grow it. At the end of the day, it’s team work and who you surround yourself with. Yes it’s about making money, but everyone has to share your same passion about what you’re doing and promoting. Love your OCD, some things I agree with, others way over the top for me. I am OCD myself with certain things. I think everyone is to some degree.
Hey Matt, when you have enough towels built up for a wash load, do you wash them all together (wheel/tire and dirty "workhorse" towels with your paint drying towels) or do you do separate loads? I have been doing my glass cleaning, paint drying and wash media as a load, and then interior/doorjamb/wheel towels as another. Am I being crazy to keep the two separate or is it important to keep the drying/wash and sealant media as clean as possible?
I always separate towels and do separate loads. I wouldn't want to wash dirty towels with my wash mitts or drying towels. You take a chance messing up your towels in my opinion. I'm very ocd with my towels and washing process. I also will soak my towels that are used with drying aids/sealants ie. Beadmaker, ceramic gloss, even a detail spray. They get soaked as soon as I'm finished with them. Usually about a few hours then I'll rinse em out and throw em in the wash. Rags to riches is probably the best microfiber wash but 3ds towel kleen is really good and cheaper too.
I love microfiber, and its versatility. I heard you say Polyamide is the only thing that makes it more absorbent, but im pretty sure the different weaves actually make a difference too. Like the reason waffle amd twist loop are better for drying is because the weave allows for more surface area. (Pretty sure at least)
Thank you. I'd like to hear more about the detailing products and chemicals that OG sells. Still not sure why you sell hard tools and stereo equipment.
The ethos of OG was to sell everything as an end-to-end solution for the garage. That includes the speakers you listen to and the tools you use while in the garage.
I bought 20 more ftws, i think i have 40 on hand now. I dont like the large gauntlet unless im doing a really big vehicle, the medium and a single FTW can do an average car easily.
Matt, have you tried the KLIN towels at all? Just recently purchased a couple of them and I am pretty impressed by them in comparison to the competition.
The Rag Company towels are the worst ones I used in the last 20 years. Even after washing them 10 times they still discolor like crazy. Never had such an issue with any other Microfiber towel and I have a few hundred. Even used the washing liquid from The Rag Company. Spectrum 420 in royal blue color and Edgeless 365 in grey color.
That's gotta be user error no offense. I've gone through hundreds and I've never seen any discoloring or bleeding. Not like I'm even doing 95% of the things they say you should do. Dozens of washes. Heat and all.

I live for the Rag Company drying towel. Use that thing on everything.
It would be great to see a video on how you properly wash, dry and store these towels too, Matt.
Def going to get the OG FTW’s. Currently use 2 gauntlet 12x12’s and a blue FTW for drying. Nice to have a matching FTW towel.

Love using your towels . Thanks for the information on the towels .
I'm freaking obsessed ugh.... I'm over here drooling over this thing. Amazing work on this baddie!

The liquidator is by far my favorite. It is incredible!

Pretty cool seeing yourself in the background of the video, lol. Can't wait to get these towels!
But the best towels get stored at home in the lista cabinet rated to hold six elephants;)
Don’t worry Matt, we got you brother!
Matt this is a very good honest towel review. I like TRC towels , have you used the dryer wolf style yet? They do a really good job for me. 🇨🇦
Matt, Do you still like Hyper Dressing for the engine bay or is Perl a better choice?
If I pick the car up in person can I get a few towels

With the various thickness, pile design and absorbing performance microfiber towels have become a tool rather than just a towel.
Ive never won anything in my life I think the Lord's waiting for this moment. Lol gt3 come to me!!
Do you have an interior cleaning kit with solution to purchase for the Porsche giveaway
Have you tried the $2,000 snap on towels??
What do you think about TRC dryer wolf towel ?
I bought 20 more ftws, i think i have 40 on hand now. I dont like the large gauntlet unless im doing a really big vehicle, the medium and a single FTW can do an average car easily.
I want those FTW's but they are sold out in Germany.
Are they good?
@@musikus7092 they are awesome! ive used them for years (just the orange or pink colors)
You prefer Dry Me A River over the Blue Diamond for glass?
I don’t like the blue diamond at all. It’s too grabby.
“Feel my terryfolds… in my terryflaps.” - couldn’t resist. #rickandmorty
Is there a reason you went from the shorter knap to the plusher towel when leveling the ceramic coating?
I almost alway choose a lower pile towel if possible. They tend to push less product around.
@@ObsessedGarage ok. What do you recommend for interior wipe down with less lint and for exterior as a final wipe down after a regular wash
Love my rag company towels but I am not buying specialized detergent for them. In the wash they’re going with my normal unscented laundry detergent
You will get build up of SiO2 and other modern sealants making your towels hydrophobic and not very functional rather quickly.
Matt, have you tried the KLIN towels at all? Just recently purchased a couple of them and I am pretty impressed by them in comparison to the competition.
I bought a pack of zero finish towels and now my entire cabinet is Klin.
Have you ever tried using the big one after a shower? On yourself I mean
Why don’t you use KLIN towels if you’re in the pursuit of the ultimate towel?
KLIN is much higher quality than TRC in every aspect.
I just checked their website, and they don't have good information or details about their products. Why should I pay $50 for a single towel?
@@NuanDaa go to Detail Division
KLIN is vastly superior to TRC.
I don’t want to hear all the history and specs, I just want to know what towel I should use for what… that’s IT.
👍
MURAD form Toronto 🇨🇦🇨🇦👋👌🤘🏻
21:26 you use it for what my guy?? ayyyyyyyyoooooooooooooo
I’m glad I’m not only one that uses it for my penis interior cleaner. Don’t knock it till you try it lmao 😂
You gotta look into Klin microfiber
I started using Klin a few months ago and they are hands down the best towels I have ever used.
I dry my car with towels from my shower and it turns out fine.
Yeah I bet
No wonder your car smells like Brut
You wash it with dish soap and a brush? Furniture polish on the tires? Paper towels on the glass?
@@timkinley1779 dish soap requires too much scrubbing with the brush, the pros say you just use tar/bug remover
Haha, I use shop towels from cintas, gives it a nice halo effect

Any microfiber cloth is good.
These people get paid and get free products to say how great things are.

You probably should not comment on something you clearly don’t understand.

Do you know the difference between polyamide and polyester without Googling it? I do. You clearly don't know who I am.
i get the feeling you try and dry your entire car with a 200 gsm towel and thinks it works great predator
