    Nice video guys. Thanks. I was thinking of getting a gen 2 997 just because of the newer headunit but with this it means I can save loads and buy the gen 1 :) thanks

    Thanks for the video, I just got the kit and know what I’ll be doing at the weekend. 👍🏻

    Thanks I loved the video! Just bought my second Porsche and it’s a 997.1. Silly me thought it would have Bluetooth, so used to it in my 991. 😂 I won’t be attempting this as I’m totally useless at even the smallest DIY jobs but great to know what’s available to get fitted with. Your kids really make your video fun and those tracks you played man! 👌🏼 😀

    Loving the proper old man music towards the end. The exact same stuff I would have had on my playlist :)

    great video, but how do you wire it if you do not have a CD changer? do you skip the orange loop altogether?

    • @carmodityclassics
      @carmodityclassics  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If my memory serves me right, you would still plug in the supplied orange loop but use the looped blank off where the cd changer would plug in.

    Is this a Mr Volt P600 device, the eBay link no longer works, thanks

      Not sure of the exact model and it might have been superceded by now but yes it was a Mr Volt device

      @@carmodityclassics Thanks very much, is it still doing the job? The PCCM Plus looks good, however at 10 times the price of Mr Volt, you’d want it be your daily driver to get the use of it.

      @@steveoconnell1104 that 911 was sold a while back. It worked great during our ownership and we've had no complaints from the new owner 👌

    Nice video. I have ordered the same Bluetooth device but from the instructions do you need to run a loop in the CD changer in the trunk? Did you not do that?

    • @carmodityclassics
      @carmodityclassics  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The cd changer can be incorporated using the fibre optic loom provided in the kit.

    • @rasmussnderby7985
      @rasmussnderby7985 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      S S QREW Nice. I Got the same fiber optic cable as you, so no need to use the loop in the CD changer (also provided in the kit)?

    • @carmodityclassics
      @carmodityclassics  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rasmussnderby7985 no you don't need to use that if you want to keep the cd changer active like we did :)
