    Thank you so much for making this video. Specifically, mentioning that it will take a few tries to get it right, and its normal for the transfer to be a bit "imperfect." I've had a hard time mastering the removal process, and I've watched a dozen plus tutorials where everyone seems like a wizard! I had no idea what I was doing wrong and tried so many different techniques. It turned out that I was just aggressively rubbing off the paper, and some level of imperfection should be expected. You were the only person to mention this out of all the videos and techniques I've tried.

    Happy you reminded everyone to reverse the image before they printed. That is so important for an accurate result. ❤️

    Hi Deidre! Hope you see this (ASAP lol) so I made 10, and need to redo 1/2 for Xmas presents that are highly emotional (baby announcements, homecoming). I’m wondering. I haven’t sealed any of them. Can I reuse these blocks and lay new pictures down on them? In theory, I think I would be able to if I just rub everything off the bad blocks. I just don’t know if the mod podge or chemicals in the pictures might have done something to the top layer of paint.
    Second question- when I did the first batch, I put the mid podge on the image. They are all 4x6. The images curled pretty quick before I could flip it over. Would it still work if I put the mod podge on the wood, then lay the pic on it?
    Last question- Do I need to seal the ENTIRE block with the varathane, or just where the transfer is. Thank you in advance! LOVE your channe!!

    • @OurUpcycledLife
      @OurUpcycledLife  18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yes you can reuse blocks and make sure you are using cheap computer paper and not too much mod pdoge that could be why curling up. I find it works best on paper. Seal the whole project ❤️

      @ hi Deidre thank you so much! I tried rewetting the first block and noting was coming off, so used sandpaper, repainted and put the pic on top this time to se what would happen. Have a 32 Oz mod podge n used the lid as w a way to push bubbles out. The couple it’s the sonogram had their baby today! Couple months early, so now wanna see if I can make a block with that pic too! Baby came 2 1/2 months early n weights 3lb
