Thoroughly enjoyable little horror/comedy movie. Renato Rascel is a riot and such fun to watch, and Sir Christopher Lee is excellent as always. I'm a life-time fan of Sir Christopher and have seen all his vampire/Dracula films countless times but this one I wasn't even aware of. Many thanks for the upload. :)
A great, unrecognized classic. Poor Dracula, all he wants to do is finally get some eternal rest and his nephew won't stay a vampire. One of the all time greats for me, I saw it back in the 60s when I was in single digits and laughed when I saw this. Laughed even harder when I was older when I saw it a second time. It keeps getting better with age.

And then the very next day, someone at a horror FB group said they'd heard that some video outfit is apparently planning to put ut a "proper" version of it NEXT YEAR. Oh well!! If they do, I'll probably spring for that as well, and give my current copy to my best friend.

It is true that Hammer never lampooned their monsters like Universal did. But as you can see here, Christopher Lee was lampooning his Dracula persona as early as 1959.
I remember in the late 1960s (probably not even in the first grade yet), they played this movie on the CBS (network) Friday or Saturday Night Movie (I grew up in Los Angeles). Some goofy story that was essentially this one. The absolute ONLY scene I remember is where Rascal is running around, trying to elude all the ladies attracted to his bogus sex appeal. That very brief shot is at 1:07:58 of this upload. But at the time, I didn't know who Lee was, let alone his reputation as a Dracula. I'm so happy I found this upload. Immense thanks for sharing! :)))))
Love the music permeating this goofy flic: fun, silly, just a hoot. Warmed up slowly, but the combo of Rascel's mimetic grace and off-beat appearance, the ever-present Lee looks & presence, the '50-'60'ish Italiano ambiance & broad humour plus those charming decorative girls make for an easy peasy light & lovely gelato of a treat . WOW! Look at all these comments of praise for this movie upload. These would be the same people who would complain about buying a DVD-R of a movie saying "IT'S A BOOTLEG!! IT'S AN ILLEGAL COPY!!" (even though there's a thing called PUBLIC DOMAIN) but my point is this - Is it not also "piracy" to upload movies on TH-cam? Or is it only piracy when it's a physical disc? Funny, back in the VHS era, no one was saying "It's a VHS-R" , back then, people were happy to have a rare movie on home video. You're all hypocrites.
This movie is what you'd get if you crossed Hammer's "Dracula" with Jerry Lewis' "The Bellboy". There's a MUCH better print online, with better picture quality, sharper color, and wide-screen... unfortunately, it's in Italian WITHOUT any subtitles!
