I’m literally at a loss for words at these replies. I correctly state “They get sued” and you felt it was necessary, nay IMPERATIVE, to point out that it was not their behavior for which they were sued, and it was my responsibility to have to explicitly stated the suit was over the IP. Just wow. The internet strikes again
I’ve heard a few standup comedians say when they’re acting, directors give them some extra takes to improvise because they know standups write jokes and are good on their feet. They’re sometimes getting extra out of the standups.
@@closequarters4575 Same. I heard that for one scene in Good Will Hunting, Robin Williams ad libbed the scene 60 times. It was when he read the note from Will about his departure.
"Actually" (insert Professor Frink noises), it's pronounced _either way._ Probably going back to the 1700s or before. 🌈⭐ Pedantry that is technically incorrect is the worst kind of incorrect ... 🙃
The VCs accusing Erlich of being "childish and rude" is so fucking hypocritical. They were happy to use humilating and manipulative negotiating tactics on him and Richard but complained when the shoe was on the other foot. None of these people are polite or honest or kind. They're all sociopaths dressed in polite clothes. They take advantage of social rules that give them power and balk at their nefotiating opponents breaking social rules. Turnabout is fair play.
SBF literally got millions from Sequoia while playing League of Legends during VC calls. Sequoia even bragged about it on their website, because they wanted to highlight he was such a genius. Don't put yourself on high pedal.
"should we leave or should you?" in someone else's space is crazy
"But it's your table" Gets me every time
You married poorly is foul
Oh, I see, it's a whole... thing.
Lol at 'Should we leave or should you' while saying it to the owners
and Sam Bankman-Fried was praised by venture capitalists for being "eccentric" when gaming during meetings
... this show was just wonderful
TJ at the height of his powers
Great sequence going rude to get offers then having to apologize when they get sued
Not sure if you have seen the show but they didn’t get sued over the behavior.
You dont get sued for being rude

one of my favourite episodes lol
Some of the best insults, and I think a lot of them is improvised.

It's actually pronounced "flaxid"
No. Flaccid.
Flac-cid. Not flax-id.

I always wondered why is Jared not in any of these meetings
Because Erlich didn't allow him to join, remember? At the very first meeting

I work in VC. This is funny, but I can guarantee this would get you black-balled from entire sectors. Please don’t do it.
Wait, SV is not an advice show?
nobody fucking asked

You're essentially aged lacrosse bros. I mean, come on.
