For years, I felt trapped by debt, constantly juggling bills and never managing to save enough to make investing worth it. I know a lot of people have been in the same boat feeling like they’re just one step away from drowning. After a while, I finally hit a point where I had to reassess everything. I dove deep into learning about finance, and it wasn’t easy, but finding strategies that matched my specific situation really made the difference. It took time, but the changes were real. Now, I’m debt-free and close to retirement, with a $3 million goal in sight. It still amazes me that I’ve gotten so into watching financial content something I used to avoid like the plague
Hi Robert! We love your proactive attitude. Addressing debt can be really hard and unapproachable for many individuals. Thank you dearly for sharing your experience and hope that you can inspire others that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I took debt settlement before and it will not releive of any debt plus your score will be so bad for years. The company that is managing your debt is taking a huge chunk of your monthly payment as fees from time to time, you will end up paying more than what you actually owe in the end.
I am so sorry you had that experience. Debt settlement is not ideal for everyone, and when it is it is very important to find a reputable company for this. We hope everything is okay now, but if you do need assistance finding relief options you can call or text us anytime at (833)272-3631.
Thank you so much for sharing you knowledge & wisdom. I've pick up some great info. I'm so glad I found your channel. I might have to file ch.7 of for the 1st time in my life. Go figure I'm bad with money and moving from mid-west to now living in S. Cali. puts me into this mess. But I created this mess now I have to clean it up. Again thank you sir for this great info. I subscribe and liked..God bless you.
Thank you so much for the kind words - this is so encouraging! Feel free to give me a call at 833-272-3631 if i can answer any questions? We also have a bankruptcy parter in S. Cali that provides free consultations if that's helpful to you. Regardless, thanks again!
That can unfortunately happen. Ultimately, it comes to a lack of communication regarding the fee's as well as inefficiencies through the settlement company chosen. We have some debt settlement companies we work with that we highly recommend because they have a good track record. If you are interested in getting more info feel free to text or call my team at (833)272-3631.
@@AscendFinance one is only month behind because it’s my credit union and I get direct deposit through them and don’t want them closing account. One is at Midland (junk debt buyer) one I settled on for 50% off and making last of 3 payments in two weeks. Still have a large Capital One card $14,000 that’s 6 months delinquent that will be hardest to negotiate, and $9,000 charged off Citi Card which I hope to work out a settlement with next. Bankruptcy (CH/7 I have too much disposable income for, apparently, even though I am under the annual median income as a single person in my state, CH-13 although probably beneficial considering my past due taxes but I don’t want to be trapped in a 5 yr plan. Would feel like a parolee having to constantly be checked on by a Parole officer (trustee/courts).
Thanks for sharing all of that. Super helpful - it's clear you've been comparing options - nice work! For Capital One and Citi, it sounds like they are close, if not ready, to be settled on. You could do it yourself or we could jump on a call and see whether there are any companies out there worth checking out. If you want to text me at 833-272-3631, we can chat more there! Thanks!
It can be, just depends on the situation of the individual. On a month by month cash flow basis, debt settlement can be cheaper but there are plenty of cons to be aware of.
Hey Spencer, oh yeah - you just have to select "none of the above" and it doesn't even ask for your email! To clarify further, it's on the last page before submitting. It asks how you would like your requests presented. There should be a few options, one being "none of the above". Hope that clears up your confusion!
Thanks for watching! As I mentioned, feel free to take our Free Debt Options Calculator: tryascend.com/qualify/calculator/quick/ytdsbk24

@@AscendFinance Thank you I appreciate you for helping us folks.
My pleasure!
I’ve been reading reviews of companies taking the payments but not paying the payments out to creditors.

How does bankruptcy affect individuals with secret clearance?
What about settling debts with creditors yourself?
Yes that's definitely a possibility. Is everything already past due?
@@AscendFinance yes but not all charged off, yet

Awesome! I hope so too!
Did you file bankruptcy? If so. Is it true you're able to finance a car a few months later?
Bankruptcy better

Debt Calculator asks for email and phone number btw, unlike he said in this vid.
