I find I use short term spells for on- the- fly situational needs or healing. Most of my work is in long term spells. I personally feel the time and energy put in during the planning and daily casting work towards is what makes it a powerhouse. I generally do 9 days to one moon cycle. My longest was a bridge spell for Ancestors - It took 36 days to complete and then it went through a growth phase. By far my favorite spell I've ever done! Great topic!
One way I like to 'feed' or continually charge my long-term spells is to make actions working towards my goal into something that feeds the spell. ie, if I wanted to open a bakery and my spell is to help me be successful in that, I would set the intention that any time I test a recipe or bake something, or turn on my oven, or someone tells me they love what I made, etc it would charge the spell. It sort of works as a background charging of the spell in between consecutive workings of the spell.
I am the same way and use this method often, whenever I ring a bell etc. I also tie servitors with specific instructions to some of my longer term workings.
Think of it like acute or chronic illness. What you are working on. "I need a new job." is a specific need in time and place. It needs to occur now, and then the need for it will be done. But things like self-love, or dissolving creative blocks -- that's a long-term process. It needs more than a one-off spell.
I would love some more info on your return to sender spell concepts. I've been very intrigued by that one ever since I watched your colabs with Olivia. I looked on both your channels but if one of you has already done it, I'm blind and couldnt find it XD I love your content and your vibe and your teaching style!
I know I've already commented but I just wanted to say I really appreciate your podcast on Spotify with your co-host, I think it's incredibly informative while being easy and entertaining to listen to. I just started and I've been enjoying it a lot
Short term spells are great for specific goals in the near future, I think! I once did one to help a friend get through their last round of job interviews, for example. For long-term spells, I've done dishes of herbs that I replace monthly, and charge it when I re-mix a new batch of replacement!
I am finding out what the Novena prayer's ARE, I found a pck of the Saint prayer cards that I LOVE!! Along with Sister Karol's bk it's been pretty enlightening to say the least lol but very peaceful thru out My home 💜 Enjoying our Frankie Friday night HERE!! Have a great one girl friend 💜 Blessed Be frm Us Southern Witches of Florida 💜🌴🌴💜
I also mostly do long term spells that I regularly recharge. Short term spells are for quick, often on the fly stuff, in my practice. Or for stuff like cord cutting. I also recharge my master oils with candles burning on the lids at set moon cycles, seasons etc. I only have small bottles of these oils on my altar for regular use & keep the masters in my dark witch cupboard.
I was wondering because I'd seen it mentioned by you and witch of wanderlust in your collabs, would you mind going over any practices involving tea? (It doesn't have to be extremely personal or closed practices I'm speaking more generally)
Hey Frankie, I've noticed that the link for the Resources Google Doc in your description says that it isn't working. When I've tried clicking on it from this and your past few videos, it says "Unable to open file, check link at this time." Not sure if you were aware!
I want to do more blessing spells (short term usually but also long term) does anyone have any good resources for it? (Especially in Italian or Sicilian Folk Magic(k))?
I know it’s not on topic at all, but I was hoping maybe if you saw this i could give you a video idea, I have asthma and I can’t do a lot of things (aka burning, incense, oils, anything with a smell to it, certain herbs) and it’s really hard to find a video where someone goes threw examples of things I can actually do, i usually just change rituals to suit me but with like easy daily practices that’s really hard as most of them are anointing with oils and stuff, I recall from your old videos that your sister was asthmatic so I was thinking maybe you had ideas due to this! No pressure tho I’ll keep watching you anyways ❤️ hope your day is going well love🫶
Bad energy directed to you goes to the plant and it repels it or it receives it (and it warns the witch). You have to have to talk to the plant so she knows what to do.
hey- im more of a begginer witch and i dont really know wjere the right place to ask this is- but does anyone have simple spells, tips, or rituals to help with depression? iver struggles with it for years and ive recently gotten help and thought i was doing better, but just fell into the past again, i dont really get much out of therapy, and im too, too tired to do anything big to help myself. sorry i dont know what im doing by asking this here, i'll probably delete the comment soon, but any help would be really appreciated, thank tou
Hi, nice to meet you. Depression is all about futility. So if you're depressed, you experience the world and your circumstances as if there's only one way to go about things and whatever you try, you can't change your circumstances. Futility could be a part of your everyday life (most of the time it's actually how you meet your survival needs), of your relationships (this is a big one, too), your education, your job, maybe even sometimes your craft, your spirituality, your creativity. Whatever it is, if you're struggling with depression, you need an eye opener, that the universe provides so many different resources all the time. Make little changes, try things, explore, see what happens. If you fail, try again. It could be anything really, tiny things, the most important thing is that you get up and try and that you make a habit out of trying different things. And the next day you do it again, until something works. You can do road opening workings alongside. Ginger is really nice in removing blockages, but with a little research and trial and error, you will find other herbs and materials as well. Try to focus on therapy that provides resources to help with the feeling of futility. Getting rid of the feeling of a situation being futile means getting rid of depression. Best of luck. 🙂
First thing that came to my mind was an attraction spell to find another therapist or form of therapy. As in writing down what you wish for the therapy to be, so it would really help you and just burning a candle and / or adding herbs or spices that you associate with attraction to it. Something simple that would suit the current energy level you have. Sending lots of blessings your way! 🌟
If I understood correctly spelling is your generic, overall term for performing magick. You make good sense, but I would not use the terms in the exact same way you would. Short term magick to me means spells or prayers. Something that is one and done. You need help passing a test so you cast a spell for you to be on your A game during the final exam. If you need much help then an education servitor to help you stick to your study schedule might be in order. So servitors, egregores, amulets, and talismans for long term magick. Of course short term and long term work together. The coven prays to its egregore to strengthen it. One creates a tulpa to be one's prayer partner. You notice I used the word help a lot. I see magick as a series of partnerships. I don't want to give my power away, nor do I want to be overpowered by a golem who is supposed to be doing things for me. Anyway, once again you are spot on. Keep up the good work.

I have a question how can you use a plant to become a ward?
Bad energy directed to you goes to the plant and it repels it or it receives it (and it warns the witch). You have to have to talk to the plant so she knows what to do.
